LeighAnn is the 2nd in our series of the models that strutted her stuff at our night for Pretty n Pink, Breast Cancer Charity ..clothes all from Perfect Night Boutique
LeighAnn has lost an amazing
5 1/2 st and has maintained that loss for over a year.. Her turning point came when she seen herself in photos while on a family holiday. She swore she would never look like that on another holiday..joined WLS and hasn't looked back since...LeighAnn admits to being a typical couch potato at that time and never imagined enjoying being active but having heard about the importance of activity for mental health she decided to give it a go. She was amazed how quickly going to the gym became a pleasure and not a chore..she also runs and attends pilates.
Being mother of the groom a few months ago gave her a real buzz...she just loved her outfit..felt comfortable in it all day and in her own words " felt great not having to wear any scaffolding"!

This week starts a wee series on my models from our Charity fashion show . Not all the members you will see have reached their "happy weight" I wanted a variety of members at a variety of stages of their weight loss to show no matter what the scales say you can still take pride in how far you've come.
First on the catwalk was the lovely
Jo-Ann...she has lost just over 3st so far and very close to where she wants to be..
" I feel like a different person , I sleep better, I have more energy and feel comfortable in my own skin, clothes shopping is no longer a chore" are just some of the comments she made. Jo-Ann says her biggest eating change has been cutting back on mindless eating and focuses more on having healthy balanced.

Delighted to hand over the last hamper from our charity night to Karen. Chuffed she won but also chuffed she reached her 2st off mark this week.

Delighted to say we have another lovely member who reached her happy weight this morning. This is Patricia who has lost 2 1/2 stone and is just loving life.

Would you just look at this amazing bunch..I have just the best members in the world. These girls all agreed to model for me at my charity night to raise funds for Pretty n Pink, Breast Cancer Charity ..we raised 10k!!

What i loved most about this was not all models have reached their happy weight but it shows that you gain confidence as you're losing..I'm just bursting with pride.
