El Shammah Residential Home, (situated beside Wallace Park in Lisburn), has a vacancy for a Care Assistant for night duty. The position is for three nights, however, the number of nights is negotiable. Shifts may be ten or twelve hours with a one hour paid break. Finishing time is 8.00 am.
While experience may be an advantage, this is not essential as full training within the home is provided.

Congratulations to all staff who have contributed to achieving a very positive unannounced RQIA pharmacy inspection on the 20th May. The inspection covered all aspects of medicine administration, including record keeping, storage, stock control, audits and governance.

Congratulations to Kay, Lindsay and Leeanne, who achieved five stars from Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, following an unannounced food hygiene inspection on the 14th of May. This rating is based on how food is handled, prepared, cooked, stored, the cleanliness and management of the kitchen, record keeping, and previous ratings. Kay, Lindsay and Leeanne have shown consistent reliability and a high standard of work. This is very much appreciated.

El Shammah Residential Home is looking for groups or individuals who can provide activities for up to thirty residents. Singers, magicians, animal visits, etc.
Our best times for activities are approximately 10.30 am and 2.30 pm, and some evenings may also suit.

It would be beneficial to know any websites or pages you may have. Please also advise on the length of time the activity lasts, the number of people in your group and cost.
