When 80% would be enough!!

Have you ever tried hard in class to touch your toes and bend over backwards, and instead of enjoying the pose you beat yourself up because the person beside you makes it look so easy as she rests her head on her knees!

When we try hard we also invite tension into the effort, destroying the aim of the pose and any progress we could be making.....

The ego wants perfection, yet thats not what class is about. If you can relax in your body you will stretch much deeper, pulling back from trying to hard and feeling the pose work, will reward you in so many ways.

Yet life is like that we give 110% when 80% would be enough. The road to perfection is paved with tension. Fear and it's sister failure put pressure on us to do the job well despite the consequences.

Next time you do class, dont try so hard, instead breathe into the pose and smile.
Notice how you melt towards your legs and fold effortlessly. When we overdeliver the body tightens up, the breath changes and the fascia tightens. We might even feel tighter after the class due to the struggle.

Have you ever tried to people please and inside you are tense and you feel mentally drained. Compare that to feeling relaxed with friends and uplifted afterwards! Your body responds to your thoughts and feelings. Energy follows thought!

So if your demotivated because you feel stiff and tight. Soften and relax! Keep stretching and stop trying so hard! 😊

MAKE the TIME.....

Don't put off tomorrow what you can do today.....

I hear this all the time....

I don't have time to exercise....

How much Space do take up in your own life?

Do you think someday I will start that programme...

What about right now, planing the seed of treating your body like your most powerful asset. Have a clear plan, a plan that everything starts to shift in a positive direction!

Self-acceptance before self-improvement!

Confidence and self-worth dosn't come from the cosmetic counter, it starts with how you feel about yourself!!

When you don't exercise and self-care it affects how you sleep, how you breathe, how you see yourself.

It shows up in your everyday life, that tightness in your chest, exhaustion, aching shoulders, a nervous system that never feels totally relaxed. Your seem to go on automatic and your Moods rule the day!

Menopause, life circumstances, health. grief can sometimes show it's self in your body, in the form of illness, fatigue and stress.

In Class or online I explained we are not training for a six-pack we are moving, Stretching, and breathing to age well, and have a good quality of life.

You want to age well and die young! 😊

Maybe your life is built around everyone else, now its time for you!

What you do daily is the future you, it ripples through every part of your life.

Everything you are looking for is also looking for you!

It's not what you think you are thats holds you back. It's what you think your not!

Your body is a instrument of your mind...

Your mind controls your results....

Bring more of you to the surface of your life...

Your thoughts are a strong energy, just dont believe everything they tell you....

New February Online Classes

Movement, Breathwork, and Stretching can have a positive impact on your life. Move beyond " quick fixes" and set yourself a goal to do just 20 mins 3 to 5 times a week.

Shake off exhaustion, begin to celebrate yourself, boost mental clarity and transform how you feel.

Maybe January wasn't the month for you? Looking ahead as we approach Spring February can be the month to reconnect with your body and mind and make a positive change.

Enjoy different methods of wellness online
Pilates, Yoga, Fitness, Home Circuits, Chair Exercise. Breathwork and tips combining education. movement and a positive mindset.

On this course you will be encouraged to improve your health on all levels. A thoughtful modern approach to posture and well-being will bring a positive impact to your everyday life.

Starting On the 1st February you can join me live 3 days a week or chose from a workout on the page. You have the opportunity to workout everyday with a varied programme of movement, or a few days a week, if thats your limit. However you will need to set yourself a goal of exercising, disapline and passion to make a difference. ( I will motivate you)
Individual's already online are following the programmes a few times a week. I am receiving positive feedback and thats makes it all so worthwhile.

Dont be the weakest link in your own life! Take charge, rise up, embrace change and make exercise part of your daily life. Your body will reward you, feel fully capable in every area of your life again!

This workshop will focus on Movement, Stretching, Breathwork, and Mindfulness. We will look at the effect Stress has on the Immune System, and how Movement and Breathwork can be instrumental in bringing the body and mind back into balance. Restorative Stretches work on the parasympathetic nervous system bringing a calmness into the physical body and clarity into the mind.
This will be a popular workshop, book early to avoid disappointment.

Strive Community Workshop today.
We did a strong class using the Pilates ball for core and back work. Everyone was glad to get moving after Christmas. πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Carrie McDonnell gave a uplifting session on goal setting.and confidence. Enjoyed by everyone. 😊
We all enjoyed having a chat and a laugh over lunch. Carrie talked about how important Community is for our self- care and mental health. I think we ticked all of those boxes today. ❀️
