Rosedean House Surgery is pleased to share details of The Hope Programme, a free and flexible online course designed to support people living with long-term health conditions such as COPD, diabetes, chronic pain, osteoarthritis, depression, fibromyalgia, stroke, and more.

Every Monday (except bank holidays) from 10am–12pm, the Compassionate Café at the Lighthouse Centre opens its doors to anyone who has been bereaved, is living with a terminal illness, or is supporting someone who is.

This is a gentle, welcoming space where you can find comfort, companionship, and understanding from our kind volunteers and others who truly understand what you're going through.

There’s no pressure to talk – you’re welcome to simply sit with a cuppa and a biscuit, surrounded by like-minded people.

Rosedean House Surgery is sharing details of the Hope Programme for Long COVID – a free, online self-management course designed to support individuals affected by Long COVID and their loved ones.

This course offers practical tips to manage symptoms such as:

Fatigue
Anxiety
Brain fog
It also provides a chance to connect with others in similar situations.

🚨 Important Update for Patients Using Windsor House Phlebotomy Service 🚨

Many of our patients have blood tests done here at Rosedean House Surgery. However, if you use the Phlebotomy service at Windsor House in Plymouth, please be aware of an important change:

🌟From 6 October 2025, all blood tests at Windsor House will be by appointment only, using SwiftQueue.

Why this change?

⚫Reduces waiting times and queues
⚫Improves patient comfort and accessibility
⚫Supports safer, more efficient services

How to book:
🔵Appointments must be booked online before attending.
🔵Phone booking is only available for patients with accessibility needs.

This improvement is in response to patient feedback and will help deliver a more timely, comfortable, and effective service.
