Although we didn’t live in Cornwall then, I have some family history of Lifeboat crews from way back and this really hit me as a teenager when it happened.

🚨✨ BREAKING NEWS (literally!) ✨🚨
If you caught the news today, you might’ve seen our little “indoor swimming pool” moment at the salon… and yes, thanks to the magic of AI, apparently we also had a shark move in during the flood. 🦈😂

While we can confirm the water was very real, the shark unfortunately was not available for comment.

A HUGE thank-you to all our lovely clients for your patience and understanding today while we couldn’t open as normal. Your support means the world to us. 💖

We also want to give a massive shout-out to our amazing neighbours at the opticians next door, who jumped straight in to help us clear the water and rescue the place. We truly couldn’t have done it without you! 👏💙

💪 The good news: after a day of mopping, laughing, and pretending we were in a dramatic underwater action movie, we’ll be back OPEN and running as normal tomorrow!

Back to the routine after a great evening on Saturday.

Thank you Liskeard Traders association 2023, Liskeard and Looe Radio and everyone who participated in a great event.

We are all stronger together and we look forward to next years event that I’m sure, will be even bigger.

Congratulations to everyone involved.

With all the negativity in the world right now, it was lovely to celebrate something positive and in particular, because it was local!
