⭐ I love being self-employed. Truly. I wouldn’t change it for the world ☺️
But, let’s be honest, it’s not for everyone, and definitely not for the faint-hearted!
Being self-employed means sleepless nights, living with uncertainty, riding waves of anxiety, navigating failures, worrying about money, no-shows, last-minute cancellations. The lot. There’s no guaranteed income, no sick pay, no safety net.
But there is freedom. Growth. Purpose. It’s one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done and the support from my amazing clients make it all worth it.
It’s also taught me that staying in your comfort zone equals zero growth. You stay where you are because it feels safe, not because it’s right.
The moment you take the risk, back yourself, and push past the fear - that’s when everything shifts 🙌 I’m so glad I took this leap and had the support of my 3 sons behind me to do this. They know mum needs to work hard, tries to balance home life with the need to push this business forward. They are my biggest supporters and my biggest achievement 💙
So this is just a little appreciation post to all my clients, supporters, friends, family, local businesses who have recommended me. Thank you all so much for making this crazy venture worthwhile.
And to my fellow self-employed small business owners - it’s tough, it’s relentless, it’s brave, but you’re amazing - keep digging deep! 💪 🌟
