I totally get it!

In the midst of rehab, or even working towards a specific goal, it can be really disheartening when you feel like you’re taking 10 steps back.

I’ve been there several times, and in actual fact it was my own horse’s rehab that got me into massage therapy.

So this is your reminder to keep going, one day at a time, you will get there.

If you’d like some support during your horse’s rehab, drop me DM with the word “REHAB”. Support is they key to getting long lasting results.

Here’s 1 thing I wish all owners and riders knew!

Progress takes time.

It’s easy to feel frustrated when you’re not seeing results quickly, so you keep switching exercises every week, chasing “quick improvements,” or trying to fix every little issue immediately.

But here’s the reality: your horse’s body cannot change that fast.

Strength, balance, and flexibility are all built gradually. If you keep switching routines, your horse never has a chance to actually improve.

That’s why when I work with owners, I focus on:

• Clear, repeatable exercises
• Supporting weak areas consistently
• Observing subtle changes in movement
• Giving the body time to adapt

Because lasting progress doesn’t happen in a single ride, a single week, or even a single month.

It happens in steady, intentional steps.

Be consistent. Track your progress. Celebrate the small wins.

SAVE this post as your reminder that slow and steady really does win the race 🐎

“I’m not sure if we really need bodywork now…” And I get why you think that.

Spring and summer feel a long way off.

Work is only just starting to build.

Nothing feels wrong yet.

But this is actually the best time to support your horse.

When prehab and bodywork are introduced early in the season, they don’t just fix problems, they help prevent them as work increases.

Spring prep bodywork helps to:
✨ Ease winter tightness
✨ Prepare muscles for increased workload
✨ Support strength as fitness builds
✨ Reduce those little niggles later in the season

Little and often support now lays the foundations for a more comfortable, consistent and confident summer.

Many horses I see regularly through spring stay softer, recover better and cope more easily as training and competition demands increase.

If you’d like to start your spring prep now and support your horse the whole way through the season DM me the words “SPRING PREP” and we can chat about a plan that works for you and your horse 🌷

Ridden work develops skill, balance and coordination, but the body still needs support to cope with the demands we place on it.

Bodywork plays an important role in keeping muscles supple, supporting recovery and allowing strength to develop without unnecessary tension.

When combined with thoughtful training, it helps your horse:
• move more freely
• build strength more effectively
• recover better between sessions
• stay comfortable as work increases

With spring just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start laying strong foundations.

DM the words “SPRING PREP” to see how bodywork can support your horse’s performance

Strong, supple muscles create confident movement!

Just like athletes, horses need supple muscles to be able to build strength, perform movements, jump and maintain fitness comfortably.

When muscles are free and able to move through their full range, strength develops more effectively and work feels easier for the horse, not forced or resistant.

That’s why ridden work alone isn’t always enough.

Supporting the body alongside training helps create confidence, consistency and long-term soundness.

Double tap if you agree that we should support our horses as a whole 💜

Not every sign of tension or resistance means something is “wrong”...

Sometimes, it’s simply your horse telling you that the workload is starting to feel challenging and they need a little more support.

Small changes like increased tightness, loss of softness or slower progress, are valuable information, not problems to push through.

By supporting your horse’s body alongside ridden work, you allow strength, balance and confidence to develop at a pace their body can cope with.

Save this post as a reminder to check in with your horse 💜

Prehab isn’t about fixing a problem, it’s about staying one step ahead and giving your horse the tools they need.

A tailored plan designed to support your horse, sets them up for the season ahead… Instead of waiting for the first tight back or uneven step to appear.

A proactive approach now means your horse is in the best shape for when their workload increases.

The horses I see consistently through spring tend to stay more comfortable, more supple and better able to handle the step up in training and competition.

If you want to build a simple, realistic prehab plan for your horse this season, send me the word “PREHAB” and let’s get started ⭐

If you’ve been feeling like your riding has plateaued, your horse isn’t quite as comfortable as they could be, or you’re just unsure where to focus next… take this as your sign 💜

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Supporting performance isn’t just about riding more, it’s about understanding the body, building strength progressively and addressing issues before they become problems.

I support horses and riders through:
✨ bodywork sessions
✨ ridden and groundwork support
✨ rehabilitation and prehabilitation
✨ thoughtful, horse-centred training plans

Whether you’re:
• bringing a horse back into work
• preparing for the spring and summer season
• managing ongoing tightness or niggles
• or simply wanting to build stronger foundations

My approach is always supportive, progressive and tailored to you and your horse as individuals.

If you’d like some guidance, support or a plan that feels clear and achievable, I’d love to help.

DM me the word “SUPPORT” and we’ll chat about what would work best for you and your horse 🌷

You don’t need to wait until competition season starts or until there’s a problem to fix…

The best results come from starting now, with a plan and consistency.

Early spring are when:
• Workload begins to increase
• Muscles are adjusting
• Strength and balance are beginning to increase

NOW is the time to lay the foundations, not rush the end result.

Regular bodywork supports:
✨ Supple, comfortable muscles
✨ Better recovery between sessions
✨ Strength development without tension
✨ A horse that feels more confident in their work

You don’t need to do everything at once.

Just consistent, thoughtful support that allows your horse to progress comfortably into spring and summer.

If you’d like to chat about bodywork sessions and how we can support your horse this season, I’d love to help.

DM me the words “SPRING PREP” and we’ll take it from there 🌷

If your horse feels tight, inconsistent, or just not as strong as you’d like… You’re not alone.

Maybe you’re noticing:
➡️ They struggle to hold themselves in transitions
➡️ One rein feels harder than the other
➡️ They tire quickly
➡️ They feel tense through their back
➡️ Progress feels slow, even though you’re riding regularly

It’s frustrating.

Because you’re putting the work in.

You’re showing up.

You care about doing things properly.

But riding more doesn’t automatically create strength.

And trying to “push through it” often just creates more tension… which makes everything harder.

Real strength starts with:
✔️ Reducing tension first
✔️ Helping the body move more freely
✔️ Improving suppleness before asking for power
✔️ Building gradually and progressively

Soundness and performance aren’t built in big leaps.

They’re built in small, consistent, well-planned steps.

If your horse feels stuck, weak, tight, or uneven right now, it’s not a training failure.

It’s an opportunity to build their strength, so that they have the right tools to perform.
