Today we celebrated our fabulous Nurse, Mariam at her award ceremony with Springhill Hospice. Mariam achieved her Palliative Care Passport with flying colours and was presented with her certificate and badge by the Lord Mayor of Rochdale in collaboration with Skills for Care. We are privileged to have been able to attend this course and very grateful to Springhill Hospice. I’m sure we all congratulate Mariam on her hard work and dedication to our home, to improving our Palliative Care practice at Smithy Bridge and to the continued learning ensuring we deliver safe and quality care. Well done Mariam 💕xx

Janine our Lead for Quality & Restraint Reduction states ' It's with my greatest pleasure to announce that we have now been approved as an affiliated training organisation for CPI. Myself, Avril & Lindsey have been supporting the organisation to exceed the training provisions, and to go above and beyond the criteria approval for Bild and the Restraint Reduction Network. We are committed to contributing to the development of our staff team knowledge and approach, meaning our resident's get the best possible care and support in their time of need. We have pledged to support the wellbeing of our staff and putting our residents at the centre of their own care, meaning they have fulfilled lives and reduce the need of restrictive practices. We look forward to future collaborations with Bild and the RRN, in exceeding the standards and commitment to high standards of care practices. I want to say a special thank you to each and every one of our staff members at Towerview Care, for their engagement and devotion to our residents.
