We are a small, family owned dementia care home providing the very best standards of care in the region. We pride ourselves in being a person centred, forward thinking, proactive Home that makes use of the latest technologies to help those that live and work here. It is an exciting time for us here at St. Winefrides, Sandy and Indira (Owners) have all but retired now and have left the running of the business to Raj (Owner/Son) and the Care to Dani (Registered Manager).

2017 has been a year of change for us here at St.Winefrides. Following our inspection we successfully maintained our green light throughout, though only with a 'Good' rating. Dani was aiming for 'Outstanding' but the inspector stated that the Home did not exhibit services that warranted this rating - despite our Computer Care Management System, our developments in Hydration, our Online Staff Training and other areas of excellence which other care homes obtained this rating for. Were we bitter, maybe a little, but if something special is what it takes to get our 'Outstanding' rating, something special is what we will have...
