The HPV vaccine is given to boys to help protect against a range of cancers, including head, neck and mouth cancers.

All boys born after 1st September 2009 who missed their vaccination can catch up at their GP practice until their 25th birthday.

Just a quick mention about Fitzalan Medical group, on Fitzalan road, people are so quick to moan and deride the NHS and our local GP's but, not for the first time, I have been bowled over by the proffesionalism and care my son and I recieved today! They are widely known for being the best practice in the area and my experiance backs it up, I called in at 8 and was seen and sorted, both me and my son, by 09:30.

Everyone, the receptionist, the lady on the telephone and the Clinitian, Dr Omotayo Adamolekun, did everything in their power to get me seen and sorted as quickly and as proffesionally as possible! Thankyou FMG, You are exactly what the "doctor ordered" gfaw gfaw gfaw! 😊
