Dan — Our Complex Care Service Manager

Dan heads up our Complex care team of Co-ordinators supporting adults and children with acute clinical needs. Service is at the heart of what we do, and Dan works with his team to ensure that no one cares more.

Fun fact: Dan likes to spend his weekends entertaining kids as Teaspoon the Pixie or Captain Barnacle at whatever special occasion he is needed at.

Meet Our Team!

Sarah — Clinical Manager

Sarah plays a key role in overseeing all of our care packages and works closely with our clinical leadership team to ensure every family receives the highest possible standard of support.

Before becoming our Clinical Manager, Sarah spent several years working as a children’s nurse in hospital settings, beginning her career in 2018. Her extensive clinical experience and compassionate approach continue to shape the quality of care we provide.

Fun Fact: When she’s not at work, Sarah is an enthusiastic traveller — she’s explored more than 30 countries so far — and she’s also a passionate LEGO builder!

This role involves supporting a young person with challenging behaviour and ligature risks. While the package can be demanding, it is incredibly rewarding once a trusting relationship is established.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience with challenging behaviour and ligatures
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Business car insurance (essential)
Willingness to drive the young person to appointments and social activities

On Saturday the 27th of April, some of Verve Homecare Sussex's staff attended a Fantastic leap year ball at Findon Place which was an event to raise money for the charity keep me breathing. The event included a 3 course dinner, a silent and live auction and a live Band to round off the evening. Our staff had an amazing time representing Verve in which an extraordinary £20,070 was raised for this ground-breaking and innovative charity.

This was as a follow up to the Brighton 10k Event of last month, Verve has currently raised an outstanding £925 for this fantastic charity. Anyone interested in donating please follow the link below:
