😎CU LIFE BALANCE Summer Meet-UP - Everyone is Welcome!😎

For the next meeting of CU LIFE BALANCE, we have decided to do something a little different and hold a Summer Barbecue/Picnic.

This group is for anyone juggling life and families around their diagnosis and we would love to invite you and your families (kids welcome) to a relaxed social evening (if the weather permits).

We would also love to open this meeting up to all members and supporters, we would love to meet you all!

Bring along some food and drinks and anything else you might want and we'll see you there!

Where: Goring Gap Worthing (near Sea Lane)
When: Tuesday 12th August - From 6.30pm

We wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge Thank You and Well Done to the hugely talented Joan Vincent. Joan raised a truly amazing £500 for Cancer United at the exhibition, with a particular focus on her painting Out Of The Darkness which represents a story of loss and resilience. Recovery through art and a desire to step out away from the crowd.

She also featured on Fiona J Rose podcast where she chatted about her art, her inspiration and what Cancer United means to her.

🎨We are delighted to introduce one of our most talented and longstanding members, Joan Vincent. 🎨

Joan will be showcasing and selling her beautiful textured artwork at Fiona J Rose’s Art Gallery in Angmering Village from Wednesday 23rd to Friday 25th July, between 10am and 3pm, a percentage of proceeds going to Cancer United. Among the works on display will be Joan’s powerful piece, “Out of the Darkness” created in response to her own journey through grief and the healing that followed.

This artwork will be sold with 100% of the proceeds donated directly to Cancer United. To celebrate Joan’s work and support this wonderful cause, Joan, Jan (founder of Cancer United) and I warmly invite all of our members and friends to join us for a glass of wine or bubbles on Friday 25th July, between 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the gallery.

We look forward to seeing you there!

🎶📣Singers Rechoired - Concert this Saturday!📣🎶

The lovely Singers Rechoired are holding a FREE concert this Saturday, at Finding Valley Free Church, with proceeds from their exit collection going to Cancer United.

We would love to see our members and supporters going along to support this wonderful event!

The next meeting of CU LIFE BALANCE is tonight at 7:30pm at The Swallows Return in Worthing.

This is a super-friendly meet up for like-minded people, who are juggling life, work, families and a cancer diagnosis.

Thank you to Wilton Park who organised a charity day for the Alzheimer's Society and Cancer United.

The collective efforts raised £2,440

It was a privilege to receive £1,220.00 for Cancer United.

When one of our members is going through treatment after building up there fitness at our Cancer specific gym, but know CUFITTER Exercises can be downloaded to a phone or an iPad along with use of there own fitness band supplied by Cancer United. To continue exercising even when having treatment.
