💜 "Just as we nest for birth, we can also nest for death."

Death is not just an ending - it is a transition, and how we prepare for it matters. In her book, "Death Nesting", Death Doula Anne-Marie Keppel shares a heart-centred approach to caring for the dying; offering practical, emotional, and spiritual tools to support this sacred time.

What you’ll find inside:
✨ Gentle, hands-on techniques to comfort the dying
✨ Rituals and mindfulness practices for end-of-life care
✨ Ways to support caregivers and create a meaningful transition
✨ Guidance on talking to children about death

Whether you are a Death Doula, caregiver, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of end-of-life care, Death Nesting is a powerful resource for approaching death with compassion, intention, and love.

📖 Available through Simon & Schuster: Death Nesting by Anne-Marie Keppel

So I've been very quiet on social media over a good few months. No excuses...life, my other job, children!
I also put a pause on the doula world and focused on other areas of my life as sometimes you do when you need to prioritise things.
When I read that the annual End of Life Doula UK gathering was happening pretty much on my doorstep at the exquisite Madingley Hall, I was hesitant about signing up for it as I felt guilty about my lack of participation for all these months but felt like I owed it to myself to come along and listen to my peers and get back in the doula loop!

I was not disappointed. I was really pleased to meet up with my Living Well Dying Well zoom buddies, to meet new faces, and come home to a really welcoming community.
I've come away feeling invigorated by what I've learnt and the possibilities again of the power of love, and support and a desire to nurture those who are nearing the end of their lives and their families.

Small steps back into the role as other commitments take first dibs but I'm pleased to say I'm here!
