Retreat Day – Healing, Connection & Transformation

Yesterday was an incredible day at Volair Kirkby, where I had the privilege of facilitating on the Breakfree Recovery Service retreat and being part of the Breakfree aftercare team.

The day was a true mind, body, and soul reset, offering:
✨ Breathwork – led by the myself Lauren, guiding deep release, a returning to wholeness and empowerment with a little insight on how important breathwork is as our trauma is held within our cellular body.
✨ Aromatherapy & Reiki – bringing balance, relaxation, and energy healing.
✨ Sound Healing – soothing vibrations to restore harmony within led by .waya
✨ Pool, sauna, and steam – allowing the body to unwind and detoxify.

Breakfree Recovery Service is more than just a program—it’s a lifeline for those ready to transform their lives. It supports people through addiction recovery and beyond, showing that life truly begins when you stop. The journey doesn’t end with sobriety; it’s just the beginning of a deeper healing process and the is really glad to be part of the process and the great work break free are doing!

Here is just a few but I find no matter the reason, people leave getting what they didn’t know they needed 🫶🏻

I went through most of my life just thinking “ this is just the way it is” I really didn’t understand the hidden forces that drove me, and it’s pretty important to understand why we act or react why we do.. because that’s were the magic of changes appears.

Presenting another “ Into deep” night hosted by myself bringing to you Real peopleReal stories Real life A beautiful safe space for people to bring their humanness to the forefront, to express themselves be seen & heard, hearing the inspiring spoken words through poetry , song & shared stories about how they transformed their pain into power & into purpose.Someone said “ this is the event you didn’t know you needed” full of inspiration with stories about the journey from addiction to recovery, jail to leading change maker for our younger generation, wounded parent to one of wisdom, self conscious to self love we had a little bit of everything.As we share our story we give permission for others to look inwards and be liberated from their own. Future events proceedings will go to to fund much needed free trauma informed programmes for men, women, families and young adults. We would absolutely love you to get behind us. January date coming. Honouring all beings, all incredibly talented finding the courage to place pen to paper and share their story! I’d love to show case you & hear yours! And that’s a wrap … the end of the 6 week wild warrior women self awareness programme “ the hidden forces that drive you, the unbecoming “

So many women have came to this place knowing even though it feels like the end it’s absolutely only the beginning to a life in which you have all the tools to align with the highest potential of happiness, in which you can cultivate courage, have inner peace, in which life can be abundant and wholesome and on the days when it’s not you also accept your self and experiences with so much more grace and inner wisdom with a knowing everything is happening for you not to you.

Some really beautiful revelations on this 6 week journey of women loving themselves more than they ever have, women stepping into action and claiming what’s rightfully theirs, women letting go of grievances and unhealthy habits, women no longer allowing fear to rule their life with a new fresh hope in thier heart and healthier communication flowing through their relationships but more than ever they now have a gorgeous group of safe scared women around them and a belief that anything is possible ♥️

It felt like the universe wanted to give us a kiss as we finished with a fairytale ending of snow.. and in typical warrior style we embraced it because we can not run from anything in this life .. we can only deeply feel it and let it pe*****te us 🫶🏻💖

The warrior, the gladiator, the king, the Spartan son, the dad, the lover, the provider, the protector, the divine masculine man.

Over the years I’ve held space for a hand full of men and I’ve always shy’d away from it with the limiting belief “I’d be emasculating man” but I am not teaching men how to be men, i am just expanding their awareness of the hidden forces that drive them and giving them a space to feel and breathe.

I see a blind spot in the community and collective in which my wisdom, teachings and more than ever love and nurturing spirit can be felt and shared which I know restores family dynamics and helps stop generational trauma.

So lately I’ve been coaching a small group of men who have become friends Intimately. It’s been honestly so rewarding for me, the impact my work is having on relationships being restored, on inner peace and belief in ones self, I enjoy reflecting to them the love and acceptance they deserve to receive and witnessing them remember who they came here to be - all I see is leaders, men of purpose and greatness.

We are not our mistakes, armour & shortcomings are unhealthy coping mechanisms once were formed to keep us safe or to help us escape.

It’s been a wonderful journey for me to surrender into great men’s energy, for me to feel safe in their presence, for me to hear & honour the masculines struggles, a deeper inner standing of the unworthiness a man feels as they’ve respected my journey to. A mutual love & respect for the masculine & feminine, no ego, no power struggle just sacred union for the good of humanity, for the good of future generations.

Held space for a beautiful Breathwork ceremony today.

I sang to them, I drummed & brought in spirit, I witnessed raw emotion, sweet revelations & releases as they returned to innocence

Honouring these men & men, who carry, who build, who stand up & be our structure, our strength, our foundation - who provide that safe container for the feminine to flourish & be free

Honouring men who dare to lean in, lead & be accountable & aware ♥️🫶🏻

You may think you don’t want a man but they are fundamental in restoring balance, harmony & femininity 🫶🏻

A woman isn’t going silent because she doesn’t love you, she goes silent because she has begged you in many different ways to see her, hear her, support her, honour her and love her.

A woman goes silent because her cries have been unheard,

When a woman goes silent it’s time to worry,
When a woman goes silent she is probably done.
