🌟 Proud Moment for Active Minds! 🌟

We were honoured to be interviewed by the amazing Andy Bonner from ITV News, and our story aired last night! 🎥📺 What a proud and powerful moment for the entire Active Minds team, our wonderful members, and their incredible families.

At Active Minds, we are more than just a day centre — we are a lifeline. A much-needed service, dedicated to helping people live well with dementia, while offering support and respite for their carers. 💜

Our impact speaks volumes:
✅ Helping people stay in their own homes longer
✅ Giving carers the chance to breathe, to live, and to cope without burning out
✅ Creating a safe, culturally inclusive, joyful space that brings people together

🌟 Another hugely successful Benefits Workshop! 🌟

We were overwhelmed (in the best way!) by the incredible turnout at our recent Benefits Advice Workshop. While we had originally allocated 15 places, we welcomed 28 attendees—and sadly had to turn away over 15 due to capacity. This reflects just how vital and in-demand these sessions are within our community.

💬 The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing the need for accessible, culturally sensitive benefits advice for individuals and professionals alike. As a result, we are delighted to announce that these workshops will now run monthly starting from September. We’ll share dates for the next session soon, along with other exciting workshops in the pipeline.

📣 A heartfelt thank you to Merseyside Law Centre and their brilliant team for delivering such an empowering and informative session. It was not only impactful but truly appreciated by all who attended—both community members and representatives from various professional organisations.
