I need to be honest… 😳

When you choose me as your practitioner, you’re choosing someone who genuinely cares about your face, your safety, and how your skin will age not just how it looks next week.

You’re choosing a medically led approach that looks at the whole face, understands anatomy and skin health, and builds a plan around you, not trends.

I don’t believe in overfilling, rushing treatments, or copying what’s viral.

I believe in supporting the structure of the face, improving skin quality, and making considered, honest recommendations that protect your long-term results.

If you’re looking for subtle, natural work rooted in medical care and real expertise, you can book a consultation via the link in bio.

Something I keep seeing in this industry…

I’m seeing more and more people offering and marketing surgical procedures like blepharoplasty as if they’re just another quick, low risk aesthetic treatment and that’s concerning.

Bleph is surgery. It’s not a lunchtime tweakment.
It permanently alters one of the most delicate areas of the face.

When procedures like this are marketed as “simple,” “easy,” or “basically risk free,” it creates a false sense of safety and that’s when people stop asking the right questions.

Who is performing it?
What surgical training do they actually have?
What happens if something goes wrong?

Please be careful and remember not everything trending in aesthetics is being led by the right level of expertise and your face and safety is not the place to take shortcuts.

As an aesthetic doctor, I see the same skin concerns every day, premature ageing, sensitivity, inflammation, pigmentation and very often, they aren’t caused by “bad skin”… they’re caused by well intentioned but unhelpful habits.

Over-exfoliating and weakening the skin barrier.
➡️Skipping SPF on “non-sunny” days.
➡️Living in a constant state of stress.
➡️Running on poor-quality sleep.
➡️Hoping one product or one treatment will fix everything.

Skin is a living organ. It responds to what we repeatedly expose it to internally and externally.

True skin health isn’t built through trends or quick fixes. It’s built through protection, balance, consistency, and a long term, personalised approach.

That’s why my focus is always on understanding your skin properly, strengthening its foundations, and creating a plan that supports it over time not just temporarily.

If your skin feels reactive, stagnant, or isn’t giving you the results you expect, it may simply need a more tailored approach. You can book a personalised skin consultation via the link in bio 🤍

The skin mistakes ageing you faster than you think…

And most people are making at least one of them and don’t even realise are damaging it.

From skipping SPF to over-exfoliating and living in constant stress these small mistakes quietly add up.

Healthy, youthful skin is built through consistent care not quick fixes.

January is one of the most important months of the year for your skin.

After winter weather, central heating, over-exfoliation and festive indulgence, most skin I see in clinic right now is not “ageing”…it’s compromised.

Tight.
Dehydrated.
Reactive.
Inflamed.
Struggling to hold moisture.

Which tells me one thing: your skin barrier needs support.

Your skin barrier is what keeps hydration in, irritants out, and your skin functioning properly. When it’s impaired, no active works properly, and treatments won’t give the results they should.

January is the perfect time to reset.

In clinic, this means focusing on:
➡️Skin barrier repair facials
➡️Gentle collagen-stimulating treatments
➡️Deep hydration and inflammation reducing

At home, this means prioritising:
➡️Barrier-supporting cleansers
➡️Ceramides,
➡️Hydrating serums (not harsh actives)
➡️moisturisers
➡️Daily SPF – even in winter

This is not the month for aggressive peels, stripping products, or jumping straight to “anti-ageing.”

This is the month for repair, rebuild and strengthen.

Because healthy, resilient skin is what creates glow, firmness, longevity… and better results from every treatment that follows.

If your skin has felt “off” recently, it’s not failing you it’s asking for support.

January is where great skin starts.

This transformation was achieved with a non-surgical rhinoplasty using dermal filler.

By carefully balancing the bridge and refining the profile, we were able to create the appearance of a straighter, more harmonious nose without surgery.

Subtle changes can make a powerful difference when the goal is facial balance rather than alteration.
