Cathie is a dream to work with, so supportive and always looking to try out new things and improve her service. The Hypnobirthing courses and workshops she’s developed for specific situations like caesarean birth are excellent and so needed as everyone’s experiences of pregnancy, labour and birth can be so varied. On a personal level her Reiki treatments are lovely to experience and along with being such a calm relaxing therapy to enjoy, also made a real difference to some ongoing tension I’d been dealing with in my leg and foot which was unexpected but a wonderful relief!

Cathie was the most amazing birthing doula that I could have ever asked for. Sadly due to medical reasons I wasn't allowed the birth we had planned for however cathie still attended the birth and gave me help and advice as and when needed.

Pregnant? Stop trying to do a sit-up every time you get out of bed 🙃. Instead, roll onto your side first, then push yourself up with your arms.

It’s easier on your bump, your back, and your pelvic floor – and feels way less like you’re wrestling with the duvet.

I’m Cathie, The Hypno Doula ✨ I help mums-to-be and their partners feel calm, confident and supported through pregnancy, birth and beyond – whether you’re planning a natural birth or a gentle C-section.

🎄 ADVENT DAY 23 You are the magic! With

You’re told Christmas is magical… but no one tells you what it feels like when bonding isn’t.
And how the pressure of the season presses right down on the place you’re already struggling. ❄️

We don’t talk about this enough.
It’s already hard trying to bond when you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or still healing…
but at Christmas?
It can hit twice as hard. 🎁
There’s the pressure to bond.
And the pressure to “feel the magic.” ✨

A double whammy that leaves so many mums quietly thinking:
“Why doesn’t this feel special for me?”
“Why am I not more connected?”
“Is something wrong with me?”

No.
Nothing is wrong with you. ❤️

Your body doesn’t reset for December.
If you’re running on stress, broken sleep, old emotions, or survival mode…
connection becomes harder, not because you’re failing,
but because you’re carrying too much. 🌙

But here’s the part you’ve probably forgotten in the noise of it all:
You are the magic.

Not the decorations.
Not the perfect moments.
Not the “first Christmas” pressure.
The magic is already in you,
in the way you show up, even when you’re worn thin…
in the quiet moments no one else sees…
in the tiny ways your baby feels safe in your presence. 🤍
And that’s exactly why I created You Bring the Christmas Magic..
a gentle guide filled with tiny winter moments ❄️
that soften your system, settle your emotions,
and remind you that connection grows in the small, unpolished moments…
not in the big festive ones.
No pressure.
No perfection.
Just small, doable steps back toward yourself…
and your baby.
And a reminder that you’ve had the magic all along. ✨

✨ If you’re reading this and thinking “yes, that’s me”… go grab the guide.
It’s gentle, simple, and designed to give you a little ease this Christmas.
