It’s always so lovely to get messages from our families - especially ones like this.

It reminds me why it’s so important to offer our children opportunities to engage with sport not only to improve their knowledge and skills - but to also to help develop their sense of self and to build confidence and self esteem.

Sport isn’t always about being the best - it’s about loving what you are doing, enjoyment, friendships and feeling good!

At this week’s TGC club we talked about how important it is to look out for each other, to be supportive and to always be each others biggest cheerleaders!

All of our games focused on exactly this and encouraged the girls to work together.

We are super excited to be bringing our pop up Halloween Glowga Party to children living in and around the Rainhill area.

This half term we will be coming to Rainhill Guide House to celebrate the spooky season!

Glowga (glow in the dark yoga!) is for all children (aged 5-11 years old) and is aimed at all abilities, with the primary focus being on promoting positive mental health and well being, whilst having LOTS of glow in the dark fun!

Session includes:

💚Halloween Glowga Games
👻Halloween Fancy Dress Competiton
🩷Mindfulness Halloween Crafts
🎨 Glow paints
🤪and lots of FUN!

This half term we have two of our most popular clubs happening at St Bartholomew’s Primary School:

This Girl Can ~ This club provides girls with the opportunity to engage in physical Activity in an environment that encourages them to feel strong, empowered, motivated and inspired to continue with sport throughout their lives.💪🏻💜

Dodgeball Club ~ This high energy and highly competitive club develops skills and knowledge of the game. Each week with a new focus and always LOTS of dodge, dip, ducking and diving!! 🤣🏐
