A beautiful example of why post treatment follow up is so important.

2 weeks post initial anti wrinkle treatment there was still significant movement in the upper part of the forehead and in the area just above the eyebrows - tricky to treat 😉

All now corrected giving a wonderful, youthful appearance ❤️

All my patients are different and require individual approach and treatment plans and I am here to ensure the best outcomes.

My new skills, new techniques, new experiences, hours spent watching and learning from experts in the field of aesthetics, reflections … all of that and more makes me a well rounded, safe injector.

Professional development is a key component in medicine and by now a second nature for me. I apply the same principles in my aesthetics practice.

I continuously train and learn new things not because I lack experience but because there is still so much to learn and I want to be at the forefront of my field 😊

Delicate and very natural lip enhancement from today’s clinic.

This lovely patient wanted to obtain more height of the lateral aspect of her upper lip.
The shape, volume and overall upper to lower lip proportions were already lovely, so we focused on maintaining those and adding a little bit more plumpness and hydration.

There is still some visible swelling, particularly of the upper lip, but that is normal and will resolve usually within 5-7 days.

Lip filler using premium product

Winter can make our skin look dry and dull.

Another very subtle lip enhancement.

This patient already had beautiful lips with lovely shape and well defined Cupid’s bow.

She has never had any dermal filler treatments and was quite understandably hesitant about the experience at first. She has however done her research, spoke to friends and her sister and decided that all she wants is to restore some of the volume loss that naturally occurs as we age and hydrate her lips. Lip fillers are great for this!!!

This is exactly what we did! 💋

I will be honest with you. I was dying to add more filler, I knew we could make her lips even fuller and still maintain it’s natural beauty.

I resisted the temptation though as I was very aware of my patient’s wishes and did not want to break our trust and provide a result she would not be comfortable with.

She was delighted with the result at the end and she left knowing that if she ever wanted to add more volume, I am here for her.

Even subtle changes can have a big impact on how you look and more importantly, how you feel 😍💋

Pictures of a very subtle lip enhancement from my clinic yesterday.

This lovely lady is relatively new to aesthetic medicine. A decision to have her lips done has not been an easy one as she was afraid she would look unnatural and done.

She wanted a slightly fuller, fresher, hydrated lips. She wanted to look like herself but … sexier 😊

During our consultation We explored her fears and expectations. We talked about what can be achieved and after a few weeks, to my delight she booked in for a treatment.

I believe in less is more approach, especially when your aim is to achieve a natural result. We have used just under 0.5ml of dermal filler mainly focusing on the upper lip to gain more vertical height and definition. I have added a small amount of filler to the lower lip to add some volume and maintain proportions.

I am happy to say that we were both very happy with the end result, despite the swelling and a bruise (this will settle in few days time).

Botulinum toxin A / anti wrinkle injections can be used for so much more than just treating the stubborn lines around the eyes or forehead.

This is a beautiful example of one of more advanced applications of Botox (botulinum toxin A). Treatment of downturned corners of the mouth.

I hope you’d agree that the difference in the before and after photos is striking.
This area can be challenging to treat and often needs multiple modalities of treatment to achieve beautiful and lasting results.
Anti wrinkle injections can be a good starting point though.

Sometimes less is more and very subtle changes can make dramatic difference to the overall appearance of our faces.

I strongly believe that there is so much more to aesthetic medicine than simply treating the skin, volume loss etc.

Through my medical education and practice I have learned to approach health issues (physical as well as mental) holistically. Nothing in this world exists in isolation and that applies to our wellbeing, health, confidence and every other aspect of our lives.

Being healthy doesn’t depend on just one thing functioning well, feeling comfortable with ourselves and loving ourselves doesn’t depend on just one aspect of who we are.

Humans are complex, we’re all different and individual holistic approach is the key to dealing with our problems.

There are however things that we all can do to improve our lives. To improve our health, the way we feel about ourselves, our relationships with people around us but most importantly relationship with ourselves 🤯

Movement is one of those things. As a society we underestimate the importance of being active. The diagram above demonstrates just some of the benefits of staying active and making movement a part of our daily routine.

So let’s keep moving 😘

What is a gummy smile?

A gummy smile happens to certain people when their upper lip lifts above their teeth too much, exposing the upper gums and resulting in what can be perceived as unattractive ‘gummy’ smile.
