Peptides are becoming big in the ‘health and recovery’ world these days… and whereas we are not necessarily for OR against them (everything has its place somewhere!), we see a lot people using them incorrectly and for the wrong reasons… Please take the following into account, and do plenty of research before going down the route of peptides…
Dosage is key… not just for effectiveness, but safety. This can differ from person to person, and for each reason you’re using peptides. It also differs massively depending on the concentration or dilution you are using. There are only three doses of anything: an inefficient dose, a dangerous dose, and an effective dose… please get it right!
Timing is key… each peptide has a different half-life and reaction within the body. Some should be used twice daily, some once daily, some twice weekly, some once weekly. Some can be used on going, some for a short period of time with a break.
Temperature is key… some peptides should be stored refrigerated, some at room temperature. Some should be stored refrigerated but warmed to room temperature before use. Some can be used straight from the refrigerator.
Interactions are key… we hear of some people mixing peptides. Also a lot of people are taking peptides alongside other supplements. Peptides are like relationships between people… some get on, some argue, some bring the best out in each other, some bring the worst. Don’t assume that mixing peptides together is beneficial. Don’t assume that taking peptides with certain supplements is beneficial. Even if often used alongside each other, most should be administered separately, at different times, and in different locations/ways.
Ultimately, we see that there are a lot of people using peptides these days, to incredible effects and benefits. We have seen some amazing results first hand. And there is a lot of ‘noise’ about the benefits of peptides.
But please…. Research what you’re doing, research why you’re doing it, and know where you’re getting them from!
We’re not claiming to be experts on peptides, but if you’re taking them, it’s important you know your stuff.
