Anyone for a game of rounders? 🥎

With the good weather still gracing us we decided to soak up some afternoon sun ☀️

There was plenty of garden games to choose from, but rounders was the clear favourite and after a slow start they all quickly got the ‘swing’ of it.
Thank you to Megan and Aisha for ‘rounding’ up the teams and to the family members that joined in the fun too 😘

In today’s arts & craft session we basked in the glorious sunshine, listened to the sounds of nature whilst we hand painted pebbles for our wonderful in-house nurses 🫟🧑‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

These gifts from us will be included in a special gift bag for each of our amazing nurses, who work hard to ensure we all stay fit, healthy and in tip-top condition 🩺💜

We finished off our VE Day celebrations 🇬🇧
By taking part in a Guinness World Record event! 🌍

We connected with our sister Kingsley Healthcare Group care homes and various other homes around the country, via Zoom.
In an attempt to break the record for the ‘largest cream tea afternoon’ 🧁🫖☕️

Our kitchen team worked hard to prepare and deliver freshly baked cakes and scones, whilst the residents, families and staff were enjoying eating them….. Thank you 💜

Finally, thank you to Signature Dining and NACCC for hosting the event, we do hope we have helped you achieve a new world record! 🤞🏼

In celebration of VE Day on the 8th May, we are teaming up with Signature Dining & NACC to break the Guinness World Records of the Largest Combined Cream Tea Party (currently stands at 617 people) in a HUGE group celebration of 💜

Our homes will be set-up with cakes, tea and coffee (along with red, white and blue flags) to be an apart of this amazing opportunity!

We can't wait to let you know the result! The more that join us - the closer we get to being World Record Breakers!

Let's make history together, on an already incredibly historic day.
