You don’t always notice it straight away…

But your nervous system does.

That feeling after certain conversations…
when you replay everything you said.

That tightness in your chest when something feels “off”…
even if you can’t explain why.

Saying yes when you really want to say no…
just to keep the peace.

Feeling drained, even when nothing “major” has happened.

This isn’t random.

It’s your body responding.

Many women have learned to override these signals for years -
to be nice, to keep things smooth, to not cause upset.

But your body doesn’t forget.

It keeps communicating… quietly, consistently.

And the more you learn to listen,
the more things begin to shift.

Less overthinking.
More clarity.
More trust in yourself 💗

Today I had the pleasure of delivering a nervous system workshop with a lovely group of women, exploring how our bodies respond to protect us ❤️

We talked about the different survival responses:
• Fight
• Flight
• Freeze

And how these aren’t flaws - they’re actually necessary ways the body has learned to keep us safe.

We explored what it feels like to be both regulated and dysregulated, and how easily we can move into overwhelm without really understanding why.

Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, we began to recognise the thoughts and behaviours that can keep us stuck in those unregulated states - along with defence mechanisms like withdrawal, overthinking and people-pleasing.

We also talked about boundaries, the power of vulnerability, and how important it is to start noticing what’s going on within us, without judgement.

The key really is awareness ❤️
Recognising when we’re dysregulated, how that feels in the body…

And gently bringing ourselves back.

Through simple breathwork and mindfulness, we explored ways to begin resetting the nervous system - learning that we don’t have to stay in survival mode.

Just small steps back to ourselves…
one breath, one moment at a time 💫. What a lovely day working with the ladies at Flourish 🥰

You’re not “too sensitive.”
You’re not “overreacting.”

You might just have a nervous system that’s been under pressure for a long time.

When your body has learned to stay in survival mode, it can show up as:
• overthinking everything
• feeling on edge for no clear reason
• struggling to relax, even when things are “fine”
• shutting down or pulling away
• putting others first, even when it costs you

This isn’t a personality flaw.

It’s your body doing its best to protect you.

In our work, we gently explore how to understand these responses… rather than fight them.

Because when you start to work with your nervous system, not against it - things begin to shift.

More calm.
More clarity.
More connection with yourself 💗

Have you ever noticed how these things can show up together…

People-pleasing.
Perfectionism.
Procrastination.

They can feel like completely different struggles.

But often… they come from the same place.

Your nervous system.

Trying to keep you safe.

Perfectionism can feel like pressure to get everything “right”…
because somewhere along the way, it didn’t feel safe to get it wrong.

People-pleasing can feel like putting others first…
because keeping the peace once felt safer than speaking up.

And procrastination?

Sometimes it’s not laziness at all…
it’s your body feeling overwhelmed… and shutting things down.

These patterns aren’t random.

They’re learned ways of coping.
And they made sense at the time.

But over time… they can leave you feeling stuck, exhausted or disconnected from yourself.

The shift doesn’t come from pushing harder.

It comes from understanding…
and gently starting to listen to what your body has been trying to tell you all along 💗

✨ If you’d like to explore this more deeply, come join me online. Together we’ll gently learn:

🤍 how your nervous system shapes your responses
🤍 why these patterns formed (without blame)
🤍 simple ways to calm and regulate your body
🤍 how to listen to your body instead of override it
🤍 small, practical steps to feel more like yourself again

A calm, supportive space to understand… not fix 💗

In our work around relationships, one thing comes up again and again…

It’s not just about who we choose.
It’s not just about behaviour or patterns.

It’s about the nervous system.

Because when you’ve experienced stress, trauma or unsafe relationships, your body adapts.

It learns what feels familiar…
even if it isn’t healthy.

It learns to stay alert.
To overthink.
To people-please.
To shut down.

And over time, that can shape how you connect, what you tolerate, and what feels “normal” in relationships.

This isn’t about blame.

It’s about understanding.

Because when you begin to understand your nervous system, things start to make sense in a different way.

And from that place…
change becomes a lot more possible.

Gently.
Safely.
At your own pace 💗

If you’d like to explore this in a supportive space, PM me. I also offer an online workshop if you’re not able to attend in person ✨

Many women are living in a constant state of doing, coping and pushing through… without realising how much their nervous system is holding.

Over time, this can show up as feeling overwhelmed, on edge, disconnected or simply exhausted.

This gentle women’s workshop is an opportunity to pause.

To understand what’s happening in your body…
and to begin finding your way back to a sense of calm and safety within yourself.

Together, we’ll explore simple, practical ways to:
🤍 understand your nervous system
🤍 calm stress through breath and grounding
🤍 reconnect with your body and inner voice
🤍 create a greater sense of safety and balance

There’s no pressure to share.
Nothing to fix.

Just a supportive space to slow down, reflect and reconnect with other women 💗

If this feels like something you need right now, message to book or feel free to PM me for more details ✨

There was a really gentle, reflective feel in the room during our THRIVE session, with space for honesty, compassion and deeper understanding.

Together, we explored Healing Old Wounds.

This was about recognising how early experiences can shape self-worth, relationships and the way we see ourselves - often without even realising.

Together, we began to notice:
✨ How past experiences can still show up in present relationships
✨ The connection between self-worth and what we accept from others
✨ The importance of meeting ourselves with compassion, not judgement

There was a real sense of understanding in the room - that many of these patterns didn’t come from nowhere… they were learned, adapted and survived.

💬 “I can see now where this comes from - it’s not just me.”
💬 “I’ve always been so hard on myself… this feels different.”

This wasn’t about going back and reliving the past -but about understanding it, so it no longer quietly shapes the present.

Because when awareness is met with compassion…
real change becomes possible.

Continuing to hold that space together 💛

There was a calm, reflective feel in the room during our THRIVE session, with women really tuning into their own experiences and responses.

Together, we explored Safety & the Nervous System.

We looked at how the body responds in relationships - often before there’s time to think.

Because connection isn’t just something we understand…
it’s something we feel.

Together, we began noticing:
✨ How the body reacts to safety vs threat
✨ Why some connections can feel overwhelming or activating
✨ How past experiences can shape present responses

For many, this brought a deeper level of awareness - especially around reactions that may have felt confusing before.

💬 “I didn’t realise my body was reacting like that - it makes so much sense now.”
💬 “I can see now why I feel on edge, even when nothing is ‘wrong’.”

There was a real sense of compassion in the room - recognising that these responses aren’t flaws, but protective patterns.

Because when the nervous system feels safe… everything begins to change.

Continuing to build that awareness together 💛

There was a really powerful energy in the room during our THRIVE session, with open, honest conversations and a real sense of shared understanding.

Together, we explored Healthy vs Unhealthy Love.

We spent time looking at the difference between intensity and safety.

Because sometimes what feels strong, exciting or consuming…
isn’t always what feels healthy.

Together, we began recognising:
✨ The difference between consistency and unpredictability
✨ How confusion can be mistaken for connection
✨ Why calm can feel unfamiliar at first

For many, this brought important clarity -especially around patterns that may have once felt normal.

💬 “I always thought the intensity meant it was real.”
💬 “Calm feels strange… but I can see now that it’s actually safer.”

There was a real sense of awareness building - not from judgement, but from understanding.

Because healthy love doesn’t leave you guessing.
It feels steady, respectful and safe.

Continuing to build that awareness together 💛

Ive been thinking about our THRIVE sessions- there’s been a lot of reflection around attraction and what draws us towards certain people.

It’s been really powerful to witness the shared understanding building within the group - those moments where things start to click and feel clearer.

One of the key takeaways:

✨ Attraction doesn’t always mean alignment.

Sometimes what feels strong or familiar isn’t always what feels safe or steady.

And that’s not about getting it wrong - it’s about recognising patterns that once made sense.

💭 What feels familiar in connection?
💭 What feels calm, safe and consistent?

These are the kinds of questions that begin to open up new awareness.

There’s something really special about doing this work in a space where women can reflect, share and realise they’re not alone in what they’ve experienced.

Awareness grows in safe spaces… and from there, so does choice 💛

Our THRIVE: Building Healthy Relationships session explored The Four Layers of Attraction.

It was a pleasure to work with the women - such openness, honesty and willingness to reflect.

So often, relationships are explained in simple terms… but the reality is much deeper.

Attraction is influenced by four key layers working together:
🧠 The brain -how we think, interpret and make meaning
💗 The body -physical responses, chemistry and felt sense
🔗 Attachment - how we connect, bond and seek closeness
🧬 Lived experience - past relationships and early life patterns

The session supported the group to begin understanding:
✨ Why attraction isn’t just a conscious choice
✨ How the body can respond before the mind has time to process
✨ How past experiences can quietly shape present relationships

For many, this brought a real sense of clarity - understanding that reactions and feelings aren’t random, but rooted in something deeper.

💬 “I can see now why I feel pulled in even when I know it’s not right. ”
💬 “My body reacts before I even have time to think about it.”

This work isn’t about judging those responses - it’s about understanding them, so different choices become possible.

Continuing to build awareness, step by step 💛

This week I delivered a THRIVE session exploring something so many women quietly wonder:

“Why do I keep choosing the same type of partner?”

And the answer is never about blame.

Attraction isn’t random - it’s shaped by:
💭 Early experiences
🧠 The brain’s wiring
💗 Attachment patterns
⚡ The nervous system

In the session, I supported the group to begin understanding:
✨ Why certain relationships can feel intense or magnetic
✨ How past experiences influence present choices
✨ The difference between chemistry and safety

There were some really powerful reflections in the room -that moment where things start to make sense rather than feel confusing.

💬 “I’ve never thought about it like this before… it actually makes sense now.”
💬 “It’s not that something is wrong with me - it’s what I’ve experienced.”

This is where change begins… not through pressure, but through awareness.

This is where change begins… not through pressure, but through awareness.

Looking forward to continuing this journey with the women 💛
