I’m thrilled to have completed my presentation and viva for the University of Central Lancashire AHP leadership development course today! This course has been an incredible journey of learning and self-reflection. 😊🙌🏽

Diving deep into various leadership models and frameworks gave me a broader understanding of leadership styles and practices. 🧠 Discussing real-world case studies with my talented AHP peers expanded my perspectives. 👥 I also greatly valued the opportunity to closely examine my own leadership skills and development areas. ✨

The course curriculum and facilitation were engaging and thought-provoking. I especially enjoyed hearing from experienced about their journeys. 🗣 Their stories and advice will stick with me as I continue to grow as a leader. 📈

I have passed the course which is fabulous to know, but the lessons and relationships formed through this course are invaluable rewards on their own. 🤝 I’m grateful for this experience that has already contributed so much to my leadership foundations. I know I am walking away as a more insightful, empathetic and skilled leader. ✅

Delayed end-of-week review:

🧑‍🤝‍🧑Monday morning one-to-ones. This week, it was lovely to hear what some of our dietitians were up to. shared some fantastic work he had been doing in his PCN with . Another dietitian has been working through her second week, shadowing dietitians and scoping the local area for -related support for patients. Integrating with the current team offering.

🧑🏽 Aaron Boysen | Dietitian] and I inducted an trained dietitian who can speak nearly 7 languages for an area of that has a large population. Excited to see how he can make an impact with culturally specific advice.

🍲 It was Lovely to attend a webinar by a specialist interest group focusing on dietary assessment in ethnic minority groups – particularly in research. Really lovely to see joined up working.

👩🏽‍💻 Aaron Boysen | Dietitian] and I interviewed some lovely dietitians this week, one who had excellent experiences as a for working in primary care such as working as a prescribing support dietitian, experience of training in and .

☪️ The Team had its monthly In-service training day. We focused on preparing for and I shared advice on what to eat throughout the month, especially for those with diabetes.
