In Restorative Yoga we don’t do more we do less. We undo, release the knots, the stress, the tension and we find relaxation and deep ease of being.

Ease and relaxation are always within you, not just found on holiday. Not just when everything seems perfect. These essential qualities for our health and wellbeing can be felt in the midst of a busy, frantic summer period too!

A spacious, calm presence is available to you anytime. All you have to do is give yourself permission to lie down and practice Restorative Yoga.

These supportive Restorative Yoga postures provide a soothing balm for both body and mind. Simply delicious.

Our next BEGINNERS YOGA course starts

THURSDAY 5th June
6:30pm - 7:45pm

Learn the basics of yoga in just 3 sessions.

We keep it simple & accessible for everyone giving you the confidence at the end of the course to attend our classes or to start your own home practice.

The course is taken by Cath one of our resident yoga teachers here at Planet.

Places are limited to 10 to provide the very best possible individual experience and we currently have just a few places available!

The course is £75 and this INCLUDES a 5 CLASS PASS for you to use for any of the classes on our timetable. This is amazing value for money as a usual class pass is £10 per single class. So the actual course works out at just £25!

• Wants to learn simple breath work and relaxation techniques.

• Would like to develop a regular practice.

Feel like you are busy rushing through this year without your feet firmly on the earth and the breath in your lungs?

Come and ground into Spring this AFTERNOON of RESTORATIVE YOGA with Cath Slomka

When: Saturday 12th April

Spring is a great time to switch our senses on:

🌱To hear the birdsong
🌱To see the blossoming flowers and trees
🌱To feel the warm sunshine upon your face
🌱To smell the flowers scents.

We can miss all this if we are not grounded in presence.

In Restorative yoga we set up the conditions - with the help of lots of props - for our body and mind to relax fully and completely into the present moment.

The special way the props hold the body allows for the stress and tension (which usually comes from living too much in the past or from anticipating the future) to melt and be released.

Then a profound stillness and relaxation that isn’t even realised in sleep, pervades and a resonating presence spontaneously arrives.

Come and restore, awaken and bring fresh insight and a calm approach to your Spring.

BEATS IN BLISS is coming to Planet !!

Planet is delighted to host an evening of ‘BEATS IN BLISS’ with the gorgeous Inner Bliss Yoga - aka Grace Pennington !!

Blending the ancient practice of yoga with the blissful beats of electronic music, Beats in Bliss offers a warm environment for all to enjoy yoga regardless of ability or experience.

Inspired by Grace’s love of the dance floor, Berlin and its club culture, BEATS IN BLISS blends the two worlds together in a unique, joyful experience.

A carefully curated mix of euphoric beats will guide you into a flow state. Breath work will support you in focusing your mind and yoga and somatic practices will encourage connection and freedom within the body.

Throughout the evening we will journey through a wave. We will awaken, energise and cultivate inner strength with a Beats in Bliss flow, then wind down, ground and soothe the nervous system with a guided sound meditation, optional reiki and journalling practice.

This will give you a space to process and reflect on anything at all that may have arisen for you throughout the evening, or any intentions that you would like to set as you flow into the season of new beginnings.

NEW CLASS !

We are delighted to introduce a new Yin Yoga class to our regular timetable here at Planet.

🧘🏽‍♀️Thursdays 7:30pm with Joanne

A YIN & SOUND BATH YOGA CLASS

This class combines two therapeutic practices of Yin yoga & Tibetan singing bowls.

The slow-paced, deeply restorative Yin yoga focuses on holding postures for longer periods, typically 3-5 minutes. These long- held stretches target the deep connective tissues, improving flexibility, circulation, and joint health.

The Tibetan singing bowls create vibrational frequencies to promote relaxation, reduce stress and encourage emotional and physical healing.

The practice will prepare you for the perfect nights sleep.

Please note this class is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, has epilepsy, a pacemaker , or metal plates in your body.
