This year, Imbolc is held beneath the Full Snow Moon 🌕❄️

A rare and powerful meeting of energies ✨

Imbolc is the celtic festival of Saint Brigid / Brigid, keeper of the sacred flame, goddess of healing, poetry, and the hearth.

She teaches us how to protect what is new, fragile, and holy.

The Snow Moon reflects the depth of winter, what is still frozen, what is being purified, what needs time.

Together, they hold a profound message:
✨ light and dark are not in conflict
✨ rest and becoming can coexist
✨ we can honour endings while tending beginnings...

This is a potent moment for releasing what has completed its cycle,
blessing what is not yet ready,
reclaiming gentleness as strength 🙌

A Brigid blessing practice:
Light a candle.
Name (out loud or silently) one thing you are releasing, and one thing you are protecting.

Let the flame hold both.
You are not behind.
You are in season.

You could spend a few moments gazing at the candle flame trying to clear thoughts & notice what arises from your unconscious - thoughts or images. Let yourself remember what you already know!

You've got this ✨🙌✨

Imbolc arrives softly,
Not as a rush of change, but as a gentle inner stirring.

On the Celtic Wheel of the Year, Imbolc marks the first turning toward spring, a promise of the slow return of the light ✨

Today marks halfway between the winter solstice & the spring equinox.

The earth is still cold, yet beneath the soil, life is preparing - do you feel the stir?

In therapeutic work, this is known as a threshold moment:
the old is loosening,
the new is not yet ready,
& we are asked to listen rather than push.

You might notice:
sensitivity,
tiredness,
quiet hope,
a clearer sense of what no longer fits 🤍
These are not signs to act.
They are signs to tend - with gentle kindness.

A gentle Imbolc pause (2 minutes):
Place one hand on your heart, one on your belly.
Breathe slowly.
Ask:
What is quietly asking to grow in me?
What needs warmth instead of pressure?

No answers required.
Listening is enough.

Imbolc reminds us:
You do not need to bloom yet.
You only need to stay close to the spark.

Power of the vagus nerve ⚡⚡⚡

Really clear explanation of the function of the vagus nerve & how & why we want to stimulate it & keep it healthy from 🙌

If you have often heard practitioners talking about the vagus nerve & wondered what it is or how/why we can try to work with it with our self-care practices then hopefully this video is helpful 🫶

✨Blissful Sound-bathing Experience

😴A deeply restorative nights sleep!

As this new year unfolds, many women feel the need to slow down, reflect, and come back to themselves.

We are reclaiming this time of year as on of 'wintering', slowing down & offering ourselves nurture & nourishment rather than pressure & resolutions.

Getting in rhythm with nature we are joining together for a magical & nourishing evening retreat on the day of Imbolc - the midway point between Winter Solstice & Spring Equinox ✨

A time to celebrate the kindling of new life in the fires of the Earth - or on a personal level the kindling of self-nurture & love, New ideas & self-care rituals in the fire of your heart 🫶

This women-only heart-centred evening retreat is a nourishing 3-hour experience, lovingly co-facilitated by two experienced practitioners - Lesley-Ann & Siân thalassayoga.

Creating a safe, grounded, and supportive circle for rest, reflection, and connection.

Through gentle nourishing yoga, calming sound bathing, a heart-opening ceremonial cacao, guided heart meditation and breathwork, and a therapeutic guided writing practice focused on self-care and self-love, you will come home to yourself.

This circle is beginner-friendly. No experience with yoga, meditation, or breathwork is needed. With two facilitators holding the space, you'll be supported throughout, with clear guidance, plenty of choice, and no expectations. You're invited to meet yourself exactly where you are.

A warm, inclusive space for women to reconnect with their hearts, be witnessed in community, and approach nature's new year feeling more grounded, open, and nourished.

We are looking forward to welcoming you,
Siân & Lesley-Ann 🙏
