Hello everyone! We just wanted to share some news about our ongoing crowdfunder campaign and how you can become a part of our mission at Melody’s Magical Scents.

Our progress so far: Since we launched our crowdfunding campaign, we have encountered challenges in securing pledges to help us broaden our product line and improve the accessibility of our self-care solutions for those with chronic health conditions.

🐾 Did you know that disabled small business owners struggle to get loans, support or funding. 🐾

This is because a lot of disabled entrepreneurs have bad credit history as they’ve ended up in debt because of their health and having to buy their own medical equipment.

Therefore I am crowdfunding to expand my small business as I don’t qualify for any support. I also want to make more of my products accessible to those who have chronic health issues.

The progress that Melody’s Magical Scents has made since we started in October 2022 always amazes me.

But to see it in the cards we send out with our packages is something else.

In the pictures are our new style business cards and one of the old style ones.
Then we have our shower spray information card that is now on a red coloured card and next to it is one of the original information cards we sent out.

Change can be scary but to see how far we’ve come, makes it worth while!

✨Let me tell you a story about Melody’s Magical Scents. (Pictured is the spokescat)✨

I launched Melody’s Magical Scents in October 2022 after recognising a gap in the market for individuals with chronic health conditions to access clean, organic shower products.

We are a small business dedicated to being a vegan brand. Since our inception, we have proudly won 27 awards.

In 2007 my grandma passed away from cancer and then in 2012 my father was under the care of Macmillan and received treatment at the Macmillan Cancer Centre in UCLH. While he was undergoing treatment, I noticed that cancer patients often lack opportunities for self-love and enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures.

During that period (and again in 2015) I realised that people who are helping their loved ones going through treatment, don’t get a lot of recognition or self-love themselves.

Earlier this year, I lost my best friend from high school to breast cancer - she didn’t make it to 40 so that was pretty hard to cope with.

For the people who I have lost, in their honour, I send out free self-care packages to individuals currently undergoing chemotherapy or those who have recently completed their treatment. I believe everyone deserves love and self-care during such challenging times.

This is one of the reasons I am running my crowdfunder. I want to be able to expand my care boxes for the people getting the treatment and for those who are supporting them through a very difficult time.
The other reason is I believe that people who have chronic health should be able to enjoy self-care moments, and get to enjoy their shower routine again. We often get forgotten about and I want to make more people aware of the products that Melody’s Magical Scents create.

✨Melody’s Magical Scents was founded in October 2022 as Caroline the creator sufferers with multiple chronic health issues and wanted to enjoy her shower routine again!✨

✨We are approved by the Vegan Society, Ethical Globe, Businesses against blood sports, Compassionate Shopping Guide and The Good Shopping Guide. ✨

✨All of our products are organic and ethically sourced so no unexpected surprises. ✨

✨One of our aims is being a clean beauty, vegan and cruelty-free brand. ✨

✨We are a 27 time award-winning female disabled owned small business.✨

✨We are currently crowdfunding to help our business grow, make it more accessible to everyone, especially those who have chronic health issues. ✨

✨ We are also trying to expand our self-care boxes to more people who are going through cancer treatments or have finished their treatments along with sending a care box to their carers. ✨

Today’s plan is to do course work that I’ve put off for ages! I’m always trying to increase my knowledge about essential oils so for a few weeks it will be coursework.

The website will still be active but not able to receive any orders due to me taking a break.

Sorry to bother you all, but I wanted to share this again. I would love it if you wouldn't mind sharing it with friends / family.

I have set up a Crowdfunder to expand Melody’s Magical Scents.
My goal is to expand the business with more products and make it more accessible to people who suffer with chronic health/pain.

Unfortunately, so many people have chronic health conditions or allergies, and are forgotten by the main beauty / toiletries industries. They don't necessarily offer clean, organic products, or cater to outside the "norm".

Melody's Magical Scents wants to be different, we want to make our products more accessible, completely clean and not full of nasty things that are bad for your health.

Since starting in October 2022, we have achieved a great deal!
To date, we are 27 time award winners, and verified by the Vegan Society, Vegan Founded, Business Without Blood Sports, Ethical Globe, Compassionate Shopping Guide and The Good Shopping Guide!

🐾 In honour of this beautiful boy's Gotcha Day on Monday, we have something for you! 🐾
