With more than 4,600 suspected cases within the past 2 years, it is important to get vaccinated against measles.

The more people vaccinated within a community, the harder it is for the virus to spread.

Parents and carers in Sefton are being advised not to use baby sleep pillows, which can cause serious harm or death to infants.

Often animal shaped, baby sleep pillows or cushions are sold for babies to sleep on, or with, or to be placed on or with, unsupervised. However, the national Office for Product Safety and Standards has issued a Product Safety Alert about them.

Research has found that they can cause suffocation and overheating, which can lead to serious injury or death in babies under 12 months old.

The UK Government has now issued a formal product safety alert concerning baby sleep pillows.

Heading back into work? Received some Christmas gifts that: you can't use, don't fit or are just not your style? Then we'd love to have them donated to us!

We can use them all year round to raffle and raise money or even to gift to our survivors who may need a treat or emergency pack to flee their home. 🆘

Either drop them off at Bridge Chapel Centre, L19 4RX or call us on 0151 494 1777 and we can collect.
