"Gail has really helped with a variety of my conditions — I initially went for musculoskeletal support but I currently receive fortnightly help with so much more that I wasn’t aware Bowen could even help. Gail keeps track each session of what I need (my conditions’ symptoms vary) and which moves particularly help, effectively managing a long-term and holistic overview of my health, which is currently lacking in my NHS support. Did you know? Your fascia can transmit signals more than three times faster than the nervous system.

Any changes or stimuli applied to the fascia, such as a Bowen move, tend to be communicated swiftly throughout the body.

This could explain why we tend to feel a quick response (or relief) after a Bowen move.

ETA: This claim stems from research by Robert Schleip and Mae Wan Ho, who have explored the role of fascia in sensory communication and its influence on movement and pain perception. Please note that the precise mechanisms and speed of fascia's signal transmission are still under study.
