It’s with a heavy heart that I leave CARAH care after 5 years. Since the start of the business with Alex Murphy and the dream of Rehab focused, quality care in the Sefton area and Liverpool. We have grown and developed to deliver support to so many people. There have been some really hard times, laughter and tears, through the COVID Pandemic and beyond. Having helped people back to independence, through the end of some peoples lives, and with so many complex needs, I have learned so much and it has been an absolute privilege to have been able to have helped so many. Now CARAH enters a new chapter, I wish the team the best of luck for the future. Thank you for everything I have experienced, learned and achieved in my time…….And…..your right I will never forget the absolute legends I have worked with xx

Celebrating 80 years since we were victorious in Europe.

Looking 👀 for Carers in Formby, Southport and Ainsdale. There are a shortage of carers in the area and we are looking to assist the hospitals and Local authorities to help people to get home from hospital. Please call 0151 321 0466 to ask for an application form.

Drivers please do better. When carers are out regardless of the weather, so the elderly and those with additional needs are warm, fed and safe, it’s not an opportunity to drive your car at a puddle to soak them as they walk between their calls!!!

| A weather warning for snow and ice has been issued by the Met Office for the whole of over this weekend.

A yellow warning for ice has been issued from 4pm today (3 January) until 10am tomorrow (4 January). This will then increase to an amber warning for snow and ice from 6pm tomorrow (4 January) until 12pm on Sunday (5 January).

Please remember if you are travelling while the weather warning is in place:

❄️ Check the weather forecast and any road closures before travelling
❄️ Fully clear your windows and mirrors before leaving
❄️ Keep a greater distance between yourself and the vehicle in front
❄️ Allow extra time to complete your journey
❄️ Keep your mobile fully charged in case of emergencies
❄️ Be aware of, and anticipate, that the condition of the roads will be different to normal.
❄️ Pack warm clothes, snacks, and drinks just in case you're stuck
❄️ Drive to the road conditions and stay safe.

Massive well done to Gabe, one of our dedicated care and support workers. He has today completed a half marathon raising money for cash for kids at the Run Aintree event in association with Radio City.
