As I reflect on my journey and the person i have become today, I imagine being the role model for the younger version of myself. Thinking back to the mistakes I made, the challenges I faced, and the lessons I learned along the way. I embrace the opportunity to guide and inspire the younger me with the wisdom I have gained.

My experiences have shaped me into the person I am now. I am compassionate and understanding, knowing that mistakes are unfortunately a natural part of growth and development(as long as you learn from them right?).

By being a role model for my younger self, I have the chance to rewrite the narrative, correct past missteps, and set a positive example for personal growth and resilience. I embrace this opportunity with empathy and self-awareness, and remember that every challenge I faced has contributed to my strength and resilience today.

You reading this,

YOU have the power to be that role model for the younger generation and those around you.

Together, we are strong. x

Past week reflection,

Started the week feeling absolutely horrendous (cramp wise), decided it was wise to cut volume on runs the past week giving how bad the cramps/ pms symptoms were each time I went out for a run. Absolutely loving my hot pods, (only been doing 1 a week) but such a great way to distress, pause, no distractions and keep a nice low HR recovery.

Ended the week building some volume back on running and with some really friendly company (bonus)🎉.

Moral of this post, not every week / workout will go to plan, which is why listening to your body / scheduling a deload/ cut back week is key. Keep showing up regardless, whether you have to scale the workout, change / miss some exercises, or even cut the run volume. Importantly, if you need an extra rest and recover day, then just take it and don’t feel guilty for doing so… it is what it is.

Excited to catch up with .elizabeth tomorrow ☕️ as I’ll be sharing some exciting news with you queens very very soon. 📝

Keep smiling,

Your girl & coach T. x

Let’s talk cycle & training🩸💪

Hormone fluctuations can affect all women, even those who don’t have a period. Hormone levels can fluctuate throughout the menstrual cycle, and this can impact various aspects of health, including mood, energy levels, and overall well-being. It’s important to listen to your body and pay attention to any changes you may be experiencing. If you have concerns about hormone fluctuations, it’s always a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice and guidance.

It’s my time of the month soon, a normal subject to talk about openly so I thought why not have a little chat about it…

So this current picture is from an app FLO I use where I track and record my periods every month. This is a really useful tool for me to understand my hormone fluctuations and dips in training. Sometimes, I honestly feel I am having an out of body experience (mentally & physically) through symptoms, so I know how important it is to listen to my body & work with my individual symptoms. Remember, symptoms I may have may be completely different to my friend experiencing her symptoms… just like we have different bodies.

During the menstrual cycle, our hormonal fluctuations can impact our training and performance. Around 13 days before our period starts, some women may experience symptoms like bloating, fatigue, and mood swings. This time period is known as the luteal phase.

It’s important for us to be aware of how the menstrual cycle can affect our training routine. During the luteal phase, we may feel less energy and motivation for intense workouts. It’s a good idea to adjust training intensity and volume based on how we are feeling. This could mean focusing more on lower-intensity workouts, incorporating more rest days, or modifying the type of exercise we are doing.

Nutrition is also an important consideration during this phase. Some of us women may experience cravings or changes in appetite, so it’s essential to listen to the body’s cues and fuel properly for workouts.

Let’s talk openly & support each other. 🥰

Be gentle with yourself & remember the way your feeling isn’t forever. ✨

“Roar” is a song by Katy Perry that conveys themes of empowerment, self-confidence, and resilience. The lyrics speak about overcoming challenges, finding inner strength, and standing up for oneself. The song’s message encourages listeners to embrace their individuality, speak up for what they believe in, and persevere through difficult circumstances. Overall, “Roar” serves as an uplifting anthem for anyone facing struggles or setbacks in their life.🎶

If you were to choose a super hero who would it be?

Mine would be Wonder Woman, also known as Diana Prince, a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published. She made her first appearance in 1941 and has since become an iconic figure representing strength, compassion, and empowerment.

As women, we can find inspiration in Wonder Woman’s character in various ways. Here are a few key lessons we can take from her and apply to our everyday lives:

1. **Courage and Resilience**: Wonder Woman faces numerous challenges and adversaries but always approaches them with courage and resilience. We can channel her strength in overcoming our own obstacles and standing up for what we believe in.

2. **Compassion and Empathy**: Despite her formidable powers, Wonder Woman values compassion and empathy in her interactions with others. We can strive to be kind, understanding, and supportive towards those around us, fostering a sense of unity and community.

3. **Self-Identity and Confidence**: Wonder Woman is secure in her identity and embraces her strengths and weaknesses. We can learn to accept ourselves fully, build self-confidence, and celebrate our unique qualities and talents.

4. **Stand Up for Justice**: Wonder Woman is a symbol of justice and fights for what is right. We can take inspiration from her to stand up against injustice, discrimination, and inequality, advocating for a fair and equal society for all.

By embodying these qualities and values, we can empower ourselves and others, creating a positive impact in our own lives and the world around us. Just like Wonder Woman, we too can be strong, compassionate, and fearless in facing the challenges that come our way.

The power and resilience of women…

When we emerge from a dark place, we often discover that exercise can be a powerful tool in our journey towards happiness and fulfillment. Physical activity has been shown to have numerous benefits for mental health, including reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety, boosting self-esteem, and improving overall well-being.

Engaging in regular exercise can help us women regain a sense of control over our bodies and minds, providing a healthy outlet for stress and negative emotions. Whether it’s running, yoga or weightlifting, finding a form of exercise that resonates with us can be transformative for us who seek to improve our mental and emotional health.

In addition to the physical benefits, exercise also offers us women a sense of accomplishment and empowerment as we set and achieve fitness goals. The endorphins released during exercise can elevate mood and provide a natural high, helping to combat feelings of sadness or emptiness that may linger from time in a dark place.

Furthermore, the social aspect of exercise can be invaluable for us women seeking connection and support. Joining group fitness classes, running groups or sports teams can help us women build relationships, boost our confidence, and create a sense of belonging that may have been lacking during our difficult times.

Ultimately, exercise can be a beacon of light for us emerging from darkness, guiding us towards a brighter and more fulfilling future. By taking care of our bodies and minds through physical activity, us women can rediscover joy, strength, and resilience as we navigate our paths to happiness and fulfillment.

December 2024,

Growth.

“Respect” by Aretha Franklin. It’s a classic anthem that empowers women to demand respect and recognition for their worth and contributions.🎶

As a role model for women, it is essential to lead by example, inspire others, and pave the way for future generations. Reflecting on my journey in 2024, I have embraced my strengths, overcome challenges, and continued to grow both personally and professionally.

Putting my passions into action has involved channeling my energy and enthusiasm into meaningful pursuits that align with my values and aspirations. By staying true to myself and pursuing what excites and motivates me, with hope, I will not only find fulfillment but also inspire others to do the same.

In 2025, I will continue to be a beacon of empowerment for women by embodying authenticity, resilience, and compassion. Share my experiences, lessons learned, and achievements to motivate others to pursue their dreams fearlessly and unapologetically.

Remember, your journey is a testament to the power of perseverance, passion, and purpose. Keep shining bright and empowering others to embrace their uniqueness and potential.

Women finding the courage to speak up, stand up, and pursue their dreams is a powerful force that can inspire positive change in the world. It takes strength and determination to break through barriers and challenge the status quo, but when women find the courage to do so, they can create a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

YOU are you and that is your power. 💜✨
