Today our amazing residents Derek, Eileen and John, along with activity coordinators Mollie and Toni, all enjoyed a delicious pub lunch at the local Crofters. Both Derek and John settled on the classic fish and chips 🍟 and a pint to wash it down while Eileen enjoyed a Lasagne and a cup of tea. Derek held his pint in the air saying “cheers everyone” 😊 and expressed he would love to do it again which John and Eileen both agreed. Thank you for a lovely afternoon everyone! John and activity coordinator Mollie took a leisurely stroll to Huyton Village the other day. John wanted to do a bit of shopping for himself and even picked up a gift for a friend✨. John expressed that he always enjoyed being outside and wanted to do so more often when the weather was nicer so we made a plan…💙. Elieen came on a walk today with activity coordinators Toni and Mollie to the shops, Eileen got herself a packet of sweets and told us all about the history of Huyton and how she loves living in the area.

Today Billy and Activity coordinator Toni went for a stroll around huyton village for some one to one time. Billy enjoyed himself and wanted a blue toy car so we made it happen and Billy was very happy with his blue toy car, saying "beeeeep beeeeep" around the shop 😁 we also watched the trains go past 🚉 Come pay us a visit or for any information please click here https://tinyurl.com/2kbhpyyv.

Our lovely residents Derek, Maureen, Josie, Margaret, Elsie, Francis and John have been busy helping activity coordinators Toni and Mollie with getting things prepared for our upcoming Summer Fete☀️. Our summer fete is well and truly underway! Our residents have been busy making decorations for our garden to help celebrate the day 🎉. It is with deep sadness, we announce that Winnie passed away early last week,after 107 years.

To know Winnie was to understand quiet determination, dignity, respect and love. A life filled with stories of a world we are unlikely to recognise in modern times.

To care for others is an honour, and Winnie will be dearly missed by all at Aaron Grange.

Today we had our lovely entertainer Deborah come in and sing us loads of amazing songs 🎶 Everyone had a great time singing along and most were even inspired to get up and dance to the music. Thank you Deborah for a wonderful time as always and putting a smile on everyone’s faces and to all our lovely residents for getting involved😊. Hello everyone 👋
Mollie and Toni activity coordinators here ☺️
We are planning a summer fate for our residents, family and friends on Saturday 13th of September at 2pm till 5pm all money raised will go to our residents 👏
We are looking for anyone to help us out by contributing doing us cakes and selling them on a stall or even sweet cones and also selling them on a stall. Also facepainting for the children and residents or (maybe adults 🤣) any other stalls anyone can contribute to would be brilliant and appreciated 💗
money raised will go to our residents funds within the home 😁
If anyone has any unwanted gifts (new or unopened) towards tombola and raffles we would really appreciate it 💗

Today our wonderful residents Barbara, Elsie, Josie, Eileen, Pat, May, Frances, John, Jenny and Esther played a wonderful game of bingo 🎉 with John, Jenny, Pat, Barbara and Frances coming out on top with some great prizes. Everyone had a great time and said they would love to do it again soon.
