Hello everyone 👋
Mollie and Toni activity coordinators here ☺️
We are planning a summer fate for our residents, family and friends on Saturday 13th of September at 2pm till 5pm all money raised will go to our residents 👏
We are looking for anyone to help us out by contributing doing us cakes and selling them on a stall or even sweet cones and also selling them on a stall. Also facepainting for the children and residents or (maybe adults 🤣) any other stalls anyone can contribute to would be brilliant and appreciated 💗
money raised will go to our residents funds within the home 😁
If anyone has any unwanted gifts towards tombola and raffles we would really appreciate it 💗

Today our wonderful residents Barbara, Elsie, Josie, Eileen, Pat, May, Frances, John, Jenny and Esther played a wonderful game of bingo 🎉 with John, Jenny, Pat, Barbara and Frances coming out on top with some great prizes. Everyone had a great time and said they would love to do it again soon. John and Kath had a go at water painting 🎨 today and both came out with beautiful pictures. Painting brought back memories for John of when he used to draw when he was younger. Today we made the most of our veranda garden and spent some time outside.
We are lucky to have this beautiful area of the home and it provides a wonderful shaded area too.

Today our beautiful ladies Pat and Eileen, along with activity coordinators Mollie and Toni, spent the afternoon at the bingo. Everybody had so much fun playing, laughing and having a good meal 🍽️. Pat said she hadn’t been to the bingo for many years and would love to go back, while Eileen expressed she had an amazing time out. Thank you for a great day ladies 💖. Yesterday Adrian and activity coordinator Mollie took a leisurely stroll to the local park 🌳. Adrian was enjoying the sunshine while also taking an interest in watching the gardener cutting the grass, which Adrian said was very therapeutic. The warm weather encouraged our beautiful Pat to want to go outside and take advantage of the sunshine☀️. Pat and activity coordinator Mollie took a stroll to the village where they enjoyed a cold drink in the café. Eileen enjoyed a visit to huyton village today with activity coordinator Toni to do a spot of shopping in peacocks and looking at the clothes and shoes👠👗 Also we enjoyed a stop at the local cafe for a rest from all the walking ☺️
Eileen enjoyed a cup of tea and a cake which she enjoyed ☕️ 🍰
Eileen said ' I love coming out and seeing everyone' Eileen saw quite a few people who new her and she was happy to see everyone again ☺️

Yesterday an amazing choir group came into our home and put on a great show that got the residents singing along 🎤 Everyone had a fantastic time singing and dancing to all the songs with our very own Josie putting in her own requests for ‘If You're Happy and You Know It’ which all the kids happily sang to her (more than once)☺️ come pay us a visit or for any information please click here https://tinyurl.com/2kbhpyyv

One of our wonderful family members came in and brought her tortoise 🐢 Carl, along with her to pay a visit to our residents. Everyone was over the moon 😊 and a few even reminisced about having their own earlier in their lives. Jenny expressed that it had been a long time since she’d held a tortoise, While Bill shared that he used to have one himself. Today we had Deborah come in and sing to our amazing residents, We all enjoyed singing and dancing to the music 🎶
Also enjoyed singing happy birthday songs to our birthday girl Jenny 🎂
Jenny said
she loved it and was greatful everybody was singing happy birthday to her ☺️
Pat also enjoyed the music and said she loves a good sing along and a dance 💃 🕺
Elsie also enjoyed a dance and sing along with her daughter and son in law 🎶

Jenny has enjoyed a lovely one to one pamper morning this morning in the garden, activity Conordinator Toni painted her nails 💅🏼 a lovely silver colour which Jenny chose herself and carer Amy French plaited her hair which she was delighted with to keep it off her face in this hot weather 🥵 Jenny said “Thanks so much girls you’ve really made me feel lovely” 🥰
