(Eliminate the guess work)
So, I’d like to talk quickly about weight loss.
Personally I find that alot of my clients struggle when it comes to the nutritional aspect of their training. The majority of you are trying to lose weight in the form of fat.
We know the only way to lose weight is by being in a calorie deficit, meaning, you burn more calories than you consume from your food and drink.
“I’ve been dead good, this week” have you said this before? And if so, how do you know? Have you worked out You’re BMR/TDEE? Did you track your calories accurately? If so, how? Did you use a diary or an app? Or just do it in your head? 🥴
The point is, if you’re still gaining weight or maintaining, then I’m sorry to be blunt, but you’re not eating as few calories as you thought.
Start by tracking everything you eat and drink as accurately as possible using a food diary or food tracker app, work out your ideal calories target for fat loss and stick with it! Whether you have a good day or a bad day, log it.
Small deficits of 250 to 500 calories, or even slightly larger, for more active people, will encourage your body to use stored fat for energy, If the deficit is too great it’s less likely to be sustainable.
Please be patient guys! Unfortunately, sustainable weight loss takes time. Eliminate the guess work and stay motivated, consistency and patience are key.
Hope this helps. If you have any questions regarding this or anything else nutrition related, please feel free to message me :)
