🌟 It’s been a wonderfully busy month here at Damfield Gardens! 🎨🐾 From creative painting sessions and afternoon tea to a visit from our lovely therapy dog Cosmo and a joyful Musical Moments session — there’s been plenty of smiles all round! 🎶💛

🌍✈️ Our residents at Damfield Gardens enjoyed a fantastic Trip to Tanzania themed day! 🎈🐘 With colourful balloons, tasty snacks, and inflatable animals, it was a day full of fun, laughter, and adventure! 💛

👻 Halloween has started creeping in at Damfield Gardens! 🎃 Our residents have been getting creative, recycling empty milk and lemonade bottles into spooky ghosts and colourful monsters — and having lots of fun along the way! 🧡♻️

☀️🎉 Summer Fayre Fun at Damfield Gardens!

Despite a few early showers, the sunshine came just in time for our fabulous Summer Fayre on Saturday, and what a day it was! 🌈

Residents, families, and staff came together for a joyful afternoon filled with live music, delicious food from Apetito, tombolas, stalls, and even face painting for the little ones! 🎤🎨

A huge thank you to our amazing team, generous local businesses, and everyone who joined us. Your support made the day extra special 💛

We are delighted to announce Somy as our Employee of the Quarter. ⭐
Somy ‘s colleagues have described her as caring towards residents, always greeting everyone with a smile, and showing true dedication to her role. Her hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and her willingness to support colleagues with e-learning and emails is greatly appreciated by the whole team.
Not only that, but her little end-of-shift dance with her colleague Jake at the end of a night shift never fails to lift spirits, it puts smiles on our residents' faces and starts their day in the most positive way.
Congratulations Somy, and thank you for everything you do!

🚴‍♂️ Jon’s Going the Extra Mile for Dementia UK☀️

Jon, whose loved one lives here at Damfield Gardens, has been taking on an incredible challenge this June - cycling to raise funds for Dementia UK. His original goal was 300 miles… but he’s already reached 595 miles and counting!

He’s also raised £983 so far, which means he’s within touching distance of the £1,000 mark.

Jon even took his bike all the way to Girona in Spain for a five-day cycling trip, tackling some serious hills and adding big miles to his total. Now he’s ranked #8 on the fundraising leaderboard and #6 for distance, an amazing effort.

Let’s help him reach that £1,000 milestone and support families facing dementia.

Yesterday, we embraced our inner musicians with a fun-filled session on the keyboard — creating our own tunes and sharing plenty of laughter and smiles!

Whether tapping the keys or just enjoying the rhythm, everyone got involved and the room was full of joy! 😊🎵

VE Day Celebrations at Damfield Gardens 🎶💃

Yesterday, we came together to remember VE Day with heartfelt stories, shared memories, and plenty of smiles.

The highlight? A fantastic sing-along with our lovely Lucy, bringing music, dancing, and laughter to the whole home! 🎤❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined in and made it such a special day.

🐣🌸 Easter Joy at Damfield Gardens!

We had a wonderful Easter filled with crafting decorations, flower arranging, and a heartwarming visit from our furry friend Cosmo, who never fails to make us smile! 🐾💐

What made this Easter extra special? Our very own Easter chicks! 🐥 We've loved every chirpy cuddle and will truly miss them when they leave us on Friday, it’s been a joy having them here! 💛
