If you are qualified to teach any of the below courses and would like to upskill to the GWO standard, or if you have existing experience teaching GWO courses, we would be interested in hearing from you.

We are delighted to announce that Offshore Painting Service Ltd (OPS Wind/OPS Training) has been acquired by OEG Energy Group Ltd, a leading offshore solutions business to the global offshore energy industry.

OEG is a global leader in the provision of specialist O&M services, OPS will sit within the Topside Division or the group; enhancing the ability to offer integrated service solutions which are attractive for OEMs that want to increase project efficiencies and lower interface risk with contracts.

Both operations and training will continue to deliver and function in their current arrangements, with no impact upon any structure or existing work practices. It is expected the biggest impact will be on securing larger and longer operations projects along with an increased footfall through the training centre.

Paul and I will remain in our current roles as Directors of OPS, Che Murphy and Gary Paterson will also continue in their current roles, providing strategic direction along with support at grassroots level as we embark on this new and exciting opportunity.

It has always been the intention of OPS to remain at the forefront of the wind industry. As we continue to grow, so does the demand on our resources. OEG is providing us with long term growth and stability; creating opportunities for us all and is testament to the continued commitment, loyalty & support of each of you.

We look forward to the next, exciting, stage of OPS and are confident that this development will take us far in achieving our shared goals.
