Here at Professional Carers, learning and development never stops 👩🏻‍🏫

Today our six ‘Senior Carers’ attended Head Office for some essential training led by our management team and Trainer Helen.

Covering everything from Standards and Values, Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Leadership, this was a jam packed day! Oh and of course we had to throw in a few team building activities to get those brain cells going 🧠

Covering three Extra Care schemes across Wirral, the fabulous Lily, Lyndsey, Tanya, Emma, Carol and Angie (from left to right) help supervise and team lead our Carers, driving standards and making sure our residents receive the very best care and support 🫶🏻

We hope you found the day as rewarding as we did guys 😍

💡FACT - Did you know all of our Senior Carers worked as Care Assistants with us prior to stepping up into leadership roles.

Congratulations to the fabulous Carol, Angie, Brogan and Adele, four of our wonderful team who today completed the Wirral Coastal Walk 🎉

Walking 20km over an 8 hour period, they have helped to raise vital funds for our residents within St Oswalds Court Extra Care, the donations of which will help support inclusive activities and experiences for the people we care for.

Everyday our teams go above and beyond in their duties and stories like this never fail to amaze us!

Sometimes you just have to improvise, right 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🏋️

Meet Lily, one of our Senior Carers and also now apparently the resident chair based exercise instructor at Spinnaker House!! 😆

A big thanks to Lily who recently stepped in when the scheduled instructor couldn’t make it last minute - despite being thrown in the deep end, you did a wonderful job, which is why we’ve named you as our latest “Team Member of the Month” 💫

For always going above and beyond in your duties, you’ve earnt yourself a well deserved extra day off to get some rest (and practice for the next session of course 😉).

Thanks for everything you do to support the residents and lead our carers Lil 🫶🏻

This week we welcome Michelle into her new role of Care Supervisor ✨

Stepping up into the position, Michelle has proven herself as a competent Community Carer with the company and will soon be working alongside our other Care Supervisors Helen, Charlie, Kris and Julian. Michelle's role will be to help lead and support our frontline teams, driving forward quality and standards of care.

I am sure you will all join us in wishing her the very best of luck in her new role and congratulate her on her promotion 🍀👏

Our story

Our dedicated team of managers and staff offer a high quality home care service, to service users of all ages (18 years+) in their own home. These services are available from 30 minute calls to 24 hour live in support and supplied in the Wirral, Merseyside.

Throughout the years our carers' distinctive uniforms have become a familiar sight and as a team we have worked hard to build and maintain a reputation for high quality and high standards of care. We recognise it is important to give people choice and control over the care services they receive; we therefore take into account your personal preferences as far as absolutely possible. Your dignity, privacy and retention of independence will be of paramount importance to us in the delivery of your care and support.

Professional Carers is a family owned business which was founded in 1998 to provide domiciliary home care to people on the Wirral and more recently in Scotland. Within this time we have grown into a widely successful organisation registered by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate, contracted to provide care services with both Wirral Borough Council and the City of Edinburgh Council.
