JOB OPPORTUNITY at Alexanders Pharmacy, Crosby for a trainee dispensing assistant or a qualified dispensing assistant.
Pharmacy qualifications are not required as training will be given towards Level 2 NVQ2 Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills to become a fully trained pharmacy dispenser.
This is a part time position covering maternity leave offering around 30 hours (open to negotiation).
We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, with good numeracy and IT skills who would like to work as part of a friendly healthcare team.

Please check your eligibility for both vaccines and make any appointments through the NHS National Booking Service online.
Please note appointments can only be made through this service or phoning 119, we cannot take appointments over the phone as it is all done centrally.

We would like to advise on the correct pathway to follow if you or your child has suspected measles.
It is critically important that you do not present in the pharmacy if you suspect you may have measles.
It is advised to telephone 111 or your GP who can direct you to the relevant health care setting to make necessary arrangements to receive the patient. This is to ensure the patient is isolated so to reduce the spread of infection within the community.

Today is the day we begin our flu & covid vaccination services! 😷🦠
💉 Free flu vaccinations are available for:

- All patients aged over 65 years
- Patients aged under 65 years who are eligible due to certain medical conditions
- Pregnant women
- Care home residents
- Carers
- Those living with immunocompromised individuals
- Frontline health and social care workers

If anybody else would like a flu jab but are not eligible for a free one, private flu jabs are still available with us.

Covid vaccinations are also free to most of those eligible for flu jabs! Please call us for more info.
