St George’s Day ❤️🤍was full of joy and delicious scones 🧁, blended with balloon volleyball and topped with watching the parade on TV together in a group here at AltPark and when the sun was warmer our residents relaxed in the garden.

We started the day by decorating ❤️🤍the place together, our residents have been of great help with balloons, it placed a nice smile on their face to be involved. It all naturally transformed into a beautiful engageing game between residents and the staff. It was volleyball only we did it with balloons (StGeorges Day themed) in our home. And of course our residents have won 🏆 and sadly (but that’s okay) the staff lost 🤓
After the delicious lunch We took the scones and along our residents with much care and awareness to devour them in the garden with a cool glass of juice.

We still are reminiscing over Friday when we welcomed Spring in our home with handpicked flowers from our garden. Now Winter cold weather is not allowed around AltPark 🌚

Our kind manager had the pleasure to give one of our ladies fresh tulips from our garden ✨💖🌷 💐🪻

All of our residents and staff felt the strong scent of the bluebells which can calm the mind and give a sense of peace. We did this together which is beautiful enough.

We kicked off the morning 🌅 and together in a group we did some stretching 🙆 🙆‍♂️ 🙆‍♀️ for the muscles 💪 rings and PomPoms help, especially when Monday can be a little bit slow for all of us. It was indeed a good boost for the mood.
And of course we could not miss this opportunity to bask in the sun ☀️🥰🥰 so we had some nice tea and biscuits 🍪 🫖 ☕️

Derby Day Drama! ⚽️🔥💙❤️

What a nail-biter of a Merseyside Derby today! Our lounge was a sea of blue and red as residents gathered to watch the first-ever derby at the new stadium.

Whether they were cheering for the Toffees or the Reds, the atmosphere was a little intense . It’s safe to say there was some shouting and a lot of sighing at the TV during those 10 minutes of extra time! 😱

Congratulations to our Liverpool fans on the 2–1 win, and a huge well done to our Evertonians for a brilliant game. Football brings us together 🥧☕️

Pitch-Side at AltPark: The Merseyside Clash 🙈 football ⚽️ 💙❤️

Merseyside Derby (Everton vs. Liverpool) is actually happening right now 🥅🏟️

The match kicked off at 2:00 PM at Everton's new waterfront home, the Hill Dickinson Stadium. As of about 15 minutes ago, the score is locked at 1–1 (Salah scored for Liverpool, and Beto equalized for Everton).

This week was amazing 🤩 we did morning stretches 🙆🙆‍♀️that turned into dancing 🕺 💃 , we knocked down some cans 🥫, we colour coordinated rings with bean bags , we welcomed spring 🌷 , watched movies together with popcorn 🍿 , had nutritional day 🍇 , we built blocks together,

But most importantly our residents all had a lovely time together. They shown us what they prefer and what they like. And we supported them whenever was needed starting with a kind word of encouragement. They were included, each and everyone and always reminded every activity is optional and we can try something else at any time.

With staff’s help working as a team we encouraged them to try and take part. And to our surprise they were having a jolly good time and we have to admit we were pretty much into it too.
It was a bliss ✨

We had some successful colouring for the Grand National Day that is tomorrow in the morning. Later whilst the sun was out decided to quick go outside for some fresh air whilst the sun ☀️ was still out.
And on the way we have admired the tulips and the bluebells. And our gentlemen gave flowers to our lovely ladies.

It was a bliss to witness them being so happy.
