Holistic Realignment is a physical therapy business with a difference! What makes it so unique is my sporting expertise from athletics coaching through to being a fitness, gym and aerobics instructor as well as studying martial arts for over 30 years. My martial arts background allows me to consider the balance of energy and how it is flowing through the body. It has been important in my own healing and has been with me for a long time. I blend this practice that I have developed through meditation and study with my technical knowledge studied in Western colleges. Over the years I have expanded my skills and understanding by working alongside and training with osteopaths and physiotherapists to increase my knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Because of this I am able to visualise what is going on in the body. In combining that with my knowledge of biomechanics and extending it into the body's system enables me to feel and see what needs to be done. To deliver a high-quality service I am constantly looking for the answer; which means I search for the cause and linked problems that are associated with a symptom not just the area where the pain is manifested. I have the ability to adapt all aspects of my skills individually for clients so if someone has a mixture of complex injuries, a disability or anything else which is restricting them, I will spend time working out how to treat them most effectively. I believe in providing a good professional service. Anything else would not make me happy and satisfied.
