Crosby Riding for the Disabled Association Crosby Group RDA provides fun, therapy and accessible sport for disabled children and adults through horse riding. Registered Charity No. 1074270

Crosby RDA was founded in 1974 and is a charity which provides horse-riding therapy solely for those with disabilities. No matter what the disability is and no matter what their age, everyone is welcome to have the opportunity to learn, grow and achieve with us here at Crosby RDA. Crosby RDA costs over £30,000 a year in running costs and is a self funded charity run entirely on charitable donation

🐴 Meet, Greet & Groom Our Wonderful Ponies!
Crosby RDA – Summer Holiday Sessions

This August, Crosby RDA is offering a small number of special one-hour sessions where individuals with additional needs can enjoy meaningful time with our gentle ponies.

These relaxed sessions are all about connection, confidence, and care. Come along to meet, groom, and bond with our horses and ponies in a calm, supported environment.

📅 Session Dates

Saturday 2nd Aug – 11:00am – 12:00pm

Thursday 7th Aug – 5:00pm – 6:00pm

Tuesday 19th Aug – 3:30pm – 4:30pm

Wednesday 27th Aug – 10:00am – 11:00am

💷 Cost: £10 per session
🕐 Each session lasts up to an hour, depending on individual needs.

Crosby Riding for the Disabled (RDA) is part of a national charity that uses horses and ponies to support physical and emotional wellbeing for people of all ages with additional needs. While our riding lessons pause over summer, this is a unique opportunity to experience the therapeutic benefits of simply spending time with our horses and ponies.🐴✨

🎉 This week at RDA we’re celebrating some incredible milestones in volunteering!

👏 Evie – 5 years
👏 Amelie – 5 years
👏 Jim – 10 years
👏 Cheryl – 10 years

Each of them received a long service award in recognition of their dedication, kindness, and the huge difference they’ve made in the lives of our riders 💚🐴

At RDA, our volunteers come from all different backgrounds, professions, walks of life and ages and each one brings something special to the team. We’re grateful for every single one of you! 🌟
