NECK PAIN

The vast majority of people have neck stiffness and sometimes this can flare up into more severe pain, even causing pain that radiates down the arm or creating a headache.

These issues must be dealt with sooner rather than later by gentle and focused treatment to the pain causing structures.

Three years ago today we got the 🔑 and work began!

“Time moves fast” is something I definitely wouldn’t say about the past three years, I think that’s because so much has changed - both within the clinic itself, and how we have had to change as people to make it what it is.

These areas influence each other so much.
Sometimes it can feel like it’s in one place, but coming from another. Other times it can feel like it’s all over the place.

The soft tissues - ligaments, tendons, fascia etc, link all of this area so much that it’s hard to have an issue in one place and not the other.

⚡️Pain: Lower back, pelvis, ribs, shoulders, neck - there are so many areas that can cause trouble when you’re pregnant.

Your body is going through such a fast change that its hard for your soft tissues to keep up with!

Treatment while pregnant (preferably in the 2nd and 3rd trimester), is aimed at gently helping your joints and soft tissues to manage these fast changes.

Do you explain with your hands too?

Sometimes, knowing and understanding what’s going on with your body can be equally as important as the hands on techniques used during the session.

Hands on work is undeniably important, but without explaining what’s going on and having a proper, structured plan, your improvement may well be limited.
