Sorry I have been a bit quiet, I did not realize how much my marathon training took of me. But I am back! (Still a with a few aches but very happy to have run a marathon) And I started the day with a nice review. My customers know once they have placed an order and sent through their measurements they can rely on receiving the same fit and quality on their next order and so they often come back. I am especially happy to have provided a dance outfit as I love dancing myself very much. Have you danced today?

I can c u at work, I thought I share more about my work this year! This is a pair of folded pants in work. I am just sewing the waistband by hand. This technique makes the pants incredibly comfortable as there is no tightness around the waist and it allows for expansion of the body, which is important as in my experience body shape and weight easily fluctuates within a month. To be honest this organic fine rib cotton jersey is one of my favorite fabrics to wear, it feels cool in the summer and warm enough in the winter and I can wear my tights shorts underneath if it’s super cold. The fine rib has a natural stretch as it bounces back. Available in natural white and black. I am wearing my harem pants and teenage hoodie as my workwear today, made of organic interlock jersey and organic cotton and bamboo superjersey. A lot of material specifics in one post but that makes the difference. Sewing by hand only really makes sense to me when I use a super nice quality fabric and that’s what it is!

If I reflect on the past year and beyond I would say it wasn’t that unusual for me (maybe the homeschooling) but internally a lot has shifted. I have deeply unrooted many pattern, which crumbled a few relationships as a consequence, I have reclaimed my body and trained a lot. And although I can see this uncertainty and change brought a lot of joy and fresh air with it I feel January showed me I am drained of it all. So I decided to dedicate the first kundalini yoga workshop of the year to rebuild especially the nervous system to walk tall towards whatever comes our way-! It feels special and almost like a ceremony to leave it all behind and start afresh. So very much looking forward to the workshop. I lately made myself some clothes which weirdly only happens a couple of times a year, and all I made was the teenage clothes. This is not because I deny my age 😂 but because they are so comfortable to wear. Actually my son started me off by demanding a hoodie for Christmas. So never think you cannot order men’s clothes because you are a woman or women’s clothes would not work for a man. I have made leggings for men, shorts for women and teenage hoodies for myself. There have been a few highlights in this year but I think this one made me really happy. First he said mum can you make me a jumper. A few weeks later he got his long awaited wear your own clothes day and he wore this jumper made by ......yes! Awesome brand choice!
