7 Things You MUST Do to Take Your Running Seriously 👇🏻

1. Commit to a Plan - No more guessing. No more “winging it.” Real runners follow a path… one that challenges them, helps them grow, and aims for progress over perfection.

2. Respect Recovery - Champions aren’t made in the miles… they’re made in the moments they rest, rebuild, and rise stronger. Recovery is your secret weapon.

3. Fuel Like an Athlete - Your body is your engine. Feed it with purpose. Hydrate like it matters, because it does! Every run begins long before your feet hit the ground.

4. Gear Up With Intention - You don’t need fancy. You need right. The right shoes, the right fit, the right tools that say, “I’m here and I’m ready!”

5. Track the Journey - Serious runners know their numbers… not to obsess, but to evolve. Every logged mile is proof of who you’re becoming.

🧡 WEEK 2, SESSION 1 - Another great session at Wavertree Running track for our running program. Another 47 runners tonight. 💪🏻

Our couch to 5k group worked hard and progressed from last week as we increased the distance slightly. This program is person and ability centred so we have people running at different stages of the plan but everyone is getting it done.

Our 5k to 10k group was pushed hard by .gilbody.postpartum.pt Vic run a great session including some faster paced pushes. Well done.

🧡 Session two of our funded programme- Done! 40+ runners getting it done!

People are seeing improvement already after just two sessions.

One thing that I am taking away from tonight is seeing people who only just met on Monday forming friendships. For me, running is about getting people out and connecting with others who have similar interests. It’s really nice to see 😌

Our programme consists of a couch to 5k, 5k to 10k and ladies run the night (safe running)

We had 65 runners turn up which is absolutely fantastic. Well done everyone. See you all on Wednesday.

🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼 FULLY FUNDED RUNNING PROGRAM - Starts next Monday 1st December, 7pm till 8pm at Wavertree Athletics Track.

Come and run with us every Monday and Wednesday for 12 weeks over the winter period. Choose from:

1. Couch to 5k - Beginner friendly.

2. 5k to 10k - Already can run 5k and want to hit the next milestone

3. Ladies can use the track for FREE because of the dark nights and safety concerns. You choose the distance that you want to run or join one of the above programs.
