🥞 What is pancaking?

Pancaking occurs when stoma output sticks to the top of the bag around the stoma, potentially working its way under the baseplate and causing leaks.

Here are some helpful tips to prevent it:
✔️ Stay hydrated by increasing your fluid intake
✔️ Add a little air to the bag to prevent suction
✔️ Pay attention to your diet and food choices
