Anne is supported weekly for a bespoke gym session with our exercise specialist. 💪🏻

Our customers have the luxury of utilising our village services… from the gym, hairdressers, beautician & private chiropodist. Not to mention our wonderful bistro as pictured below! 🏋🏼 💇🏽‍♂️💅🏻 ☕️ 🥘

We are proud to say our team is paid for their travel time, as well as appointment time itself, and shifts are always guaranteed. We are also proud to be finalists at the regional Great British Care Awards - we're nominated for The Home Care Team Award! 🌟

Yesterday, our dedicated teams took part in Tier 2 Dementia Training a powerful step forward in deepening our understanding and enhancing the support we offer.

The session focused on advanced communication techniques, helping us connect more meaningfully with those living with dementia. From recognising non-verbal cues to adapting our approach with empathy and clarity, the training was both insightful and inspiring.

Barbara Tait has been appointed as Belong's lead exercise specialist, heading up our award-winning, in-house exercise provision responsible for remarkable outcomes for our customers.

We are one of the few care operators to have onsite gyms with dedicated exercise specialists, and Barbara was instrumental in the development of the service strategy when Belong launched over 15 years ago.

Belong’s high standard of care and companionship right in your own home

Belong at Home is run by North West based not-for-profit care provider, Belong, which specialises in supporting people with dementia. The service was launched to enable us to extend our support beyond villages to people’s own homes in the wider community. In line with our ‘home for life’ concept, we aim to support people whatever their physical needs or their stage of their journey with dementia. We bring the same pioneering spirit that led to the creation of Belong villages to our Belong at Home service, continuously looking to improve the way we operate. As a listening organisation, we take the lead from our customers, seeking constant feedback on what we can do better through ‘Our listening to the experts’ surveys, regular wellbeing reviews and feedback forums.
