Patient feedback often centres around access and ability to book appointments.

Please be assured that we are committed to improving our services and making the process of booking appointments as easy as possible.

We currently have several ways that patients can access the booking system:

- you can come to the surgery in person
- call the surgery
- book directly through online via the NHS App

We also have an online consultation service (eConsult) where non-urgent medical queries can be sent to the practice by completing an online form via our website.

In addition to the appointments we offer through the surgery, our admin team can also access appointments at other clinics via our 7-day access service. Via this service, we can offer a range of routine, pre-bookable appointments with GPs, practice nurses, and medical specialists outside of your surgery’s normal hours. Specialists include;

+ physiotherapists
+ menopause clinic
+ women’s health clinic
+ a respiratory hub...and many more!

As a patient, is there anything I can do to help?

✅️ If you no longer require an appointment, please cancel in good time – this can be done online via the NHS App.

✅️ Allow admin to guide you to the correct service – this often frees up GP appointments so patients who do require a GP can see one sooner.

✅️ Utilise the NHS App for reviewing records, checking hospital correspondence, booking/cancelling appointments, checking test results – this frees up admin staff

Illnesses like coughs, sore throats and ear ache are extremely common in young children, but did you know… our children’s ‘super bodies’ are designed to fight off many common illnesses, without the need for antibiotics?

These common ailments and can be unpleasant for children and their caregivers, but are most often caused by viral infections and do not need to be treated with antibiotics.

Antibiotics rarely speed up recovery for these conditions and have no effect on viruses.
