What a man 💟

It's a time to celebrate the legacy of Robert Edwards, on what would have been his 100th birthday.

Sir Robert Edwards pioneered IVF with colleagues Patrick Steptoe and Jean Purdy in the face of much opposition, including from many medical colleagues.

Those of us affected by fertility issues have so much to thank him for, and today is a good time to reflect on his incredible legacy.

We wanted to share the sentiment from this obituary piece written for The Guardian by one of our team about what he means to us.
