Our courses can be taken as stand alone modules or form part of our MSc pathway.

In the context of a rigorously blinded trial (see ⬇), cervical and thoracic manipulations appear to be equally efficacious for managing neck pain. If you are reluctant to do cervical manipulation due to perceived higher risks, then this study would indicate that thoracic manipulations are equally effective.

In our Foundation Unit 1, we go through treatments for carpal tunnel syndrome. The interesting meta-analysis ⬇ discusses the current evidence-based, conservative treatments for CTS.

This study provides robust evidence that MT and dextrose 5% in water injections are the most effective conservative treatments for CTS which offer valuable insights for clinical decision-making. Further research is needed to assess the long-term efficacy and cost-effectiveness of these interventions...
