John and Carl from Maiden Lane enjoyed an afternoon at Junkyard Golf recently. They took on the Pablo course where they had to navigate around 7ft UFC bears, a pirate pig on a speedboat and a toxic volcano! Fun and lots of laughs were had!
They would both highly recommend it and cannot wait to go again, to take on a different course.

They enjoyed spending time together and afterwards had a meal, washing down their fish and chips with a refreshing pint of lager shandy and cider.

Clare's Adventures!

Clare from Darrel Drive enjoyed several days out over the past week, one day she visited New Brighton beach to blow away the cobwebs and have a nice long walk, another day she went to Southport funfair, even posing in a Barbie Doll figure box!

Clare really enjoyed her days out and going on the rides.

Grand National Get Together!

Expect held Grand National gathering for Spring Gardens, Old Racecourse Road and Southport Road services over last weekend.

Bringing service users together from different services, along with their friends was no small task! A big thank you to Helen for organising.

The Bowersdale Resource Day Centre (BRC) will be holding an event promoting Stress Awareness Month today. Session will include coping strategies and how to talk about individual stresses with other people.

Charlie was supported on Saturday to attend an Anime convention at Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester.

Charlie met a couple of his favourite voice over actors and pushed himself out of his comfort zone by chatting with them both. He got autographs and bought plenty of memorabilia! Charlie enjoyed the day out and the train adventure as well.

Specialists will be attending the Day Centre to deliver a session and answer any questions service users may have. They are also able to show you the kits and how to use them.

We hope you all had a lovely Easter!

Our team at The Bowersdale Resource Day Centre (BRC) had an eggs-citing day, with their Easter Party and Easter Egg Hunt. There was even time for a round of Easter Bingo.

As always- the Easter Bunny made a guest appearance to meet with service users and staff.
