Happy International Nurses Day 2026 💙
Nursing has never just been a job to me — it’s who I am.
From caring for critically unwell cardiac patients in the cath lab, to helping clients feel confident, refreshed and empowered within my aesthetics clinic, both roles hold such a special place in my heart.
As a cardiac nurse, I’ve learned the importance of compassion, resilience, quick thinking and being there for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
As an Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner, I love helping people regain confidence, feel comfortable in their own skin and realise that subtle, natural enhancements can have such a positive impact on self-esteem and wellbeing.
Although the environments are completely different, the foundation is exactly the same — care, trust, safety and putting people first.
I’m incredibly proud to be able to combine both sides of nursing that I love so much. One role saves lives, the other helps people feel more like themselves again — and both are equally rewarding in their own way.
To every nurse working long shifts, showing kindness when exhausted, advocating for patients and continuing to give so much of themselves every single day… you are appreciated more than words can say.
