We’re hosting a free fresh food market this Thursday (12pm–2pm) at the Joseph Lappin Centre.
Lots of fresh fruit and veg available, so bring bags, boxes or a trolley and take what you need.

This is part of a food waste & environmental project, so absolutely EVERYONE is welcome.
If it’s a success, we may be able to make this a regular event, so please come along and spread the word!

Please share with friends, family and neighbours! The more people who come, the less food gets wasted.

We’ll have lots of fresh food available for people to pick up on Thursday 19th as part of our effort to reduce food waste. Everyone is welcome, no matter your situation, so please come along and help yourself.

By taking food that might otherwise go to waste, you’re also helping the environment! Bring your bags, boxes, trolleys, and strong arms so you can take as much food home as you want.

Please share with friends, family and neighbours so as many people as possible can benefit!

You don’t have to have it all figured out

A lot of men feel like they’re supposed to just get on with things.
Keep busy. Don’t make a fuss. Handle it.

But sometimes it helps to talk things through with people who get it.

Our Men’s Peer Support Group is a relaxed space where men can speak openly about what’s going on in their lives. Whether its stress, relationships, anger, anxiety, feeling stuck, or trying to figure out the next chapter.

There’s no pressure to share more than you want to. Some weeks you might talk, some weeks you might just listen. Over time the group builds trust and support between the men in the room.

What a fun and lively Global Scouse Day we had at the JLC last night! The food from Michelle's community kitchen was superb, we had a vegan Scouse, beef and lamb Scouse and even a Scouse with a Caribbean twist!!
The food was funded by the additional funds left over from Bay Tree Caterers Liverpool & Bay Tree Cookery Academy CIC fundraiser for the annual Christmas Dinner! It was a real pleasure to host! Thank you so much to all the lovely volunteers! We finished the night with a sing a long to Ferry Across the Mersey!

A relaxed, supportive space for men to talk about what’s really going on. Whether its stress, relationships, anger, anxiety, or just feeling stuck. No pressure and no judgement. The group is shaped by the men in the room.

Men often say they’re surprised how much they open up and how good it feels to support each other. Honest, respectful, and sometimes even a laugh.

Free to attend.
